Driving Directions

There are many different routes you can take to our new home at Killeen Castle near Dunshaughlin in Co Meath. These are some of the easiest routes to take, maybe not the most direct, but the simplest. Whatever route you decide please drive safely and give yourself plenty of time to grab a tea or coffee with us when you arrive.

We are 15 minutes (using the M3 toll) from the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.

From Dublin

- Make your way to the M-50 Northbound
- Go through the M50 Toll Bridge (get into the left lane and prepare to exit)
- Exit at Junction 6 for The N3 - Cavan/Blanchardstown/Castleknock.
- Keep right on the ramp for the N3 (Cavan/Navan)
- Continue on the N3
- Merges onto the M3, pass through the Toll station
- Exit 6 for Dunshaughlin/Trim (follow brown signs for Killeen Castle)
- Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout.
- At the next roundabout take the 1st exit for R125 to Dunshaughlin.
- At the next roundabout take the 1st exit and signposted for Killeen Castle.
- Continue on this road, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit
- Continue on this road (approx 1 mile), the Killeen Castle gate is on the right.

Once inside the gate, follow the driveway past the castle and walled garden.
Follow the driveway around the bend to the left. ForeGolf is the 2nd stone building on the right (between Dave Pelz School and The Clubhouse). Please park in front of the ForeGolf building or continue straight to the main carpark past the Clubhouse. Feel free to drop off your clubs first.

From Cork / Naas / N7

- Take the N7 (Dublin bound)
- At The Red Cow junction bear left onto The M-50 North (towards the Airport).
- Go through the M50 Toll Bridge (get into the left lane and get ready to exit at junction 6)
- Exit at Junction 6 Signposted for The N3 - Cavan/Blanchardstown/Castleknock.
- Keep right on the ramp for the N3
- Continue on the N3
- Merges onto the M3, pass through the Toll station
- Exit 6 for Dunshaughlin/Trim (follow brown signs for Killeen Castle)
- Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout signposted for Trim and Kilcock.
- At the next roundabout take the 1st exit for R125 to Dunshaughlin.
- At the next roundabout take the 1st exit and signposted for Killeen Castle.
- Continue on this road, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit
- Continue on this road for approx 1 mile, the Killeen Castle entrance is on the right.

Once inside the gate, follow the driveway, go past the Castle on your left, past the walled garden and follow the driveway around to the left, ForeGolf is the 2nd stone building on the right. (We are between the Pelz Short Game School and The Clubhouse). You can only park in front of our building or in the main carpark which is is at the end of the driveway pass the Clubhouse. Feel free to drop off your clubs first.

From The West / Galway / N4

- Exit the N4/M4 at junction 8.
- At the top of the ramp take the first exit towards Kilcock / Trim.
- At the next roundabout (the large Centra Distribution Centre) take the 2nd exit for Kilcock / Trim.
- Go past a cemetery on your right and continue about ½ mile along this road
- Take a left turn for Trim / Summerhill – R158 (do not go into Kilcock town)
- Follow this road (the R158) over a narrow bridge to a roundabout.
- Go straight across this roundabout
- Take the 1st exit and continue straight past Kilcock Golf Club and onwards 6.5 miles
- Next roundabout, take the 2nd exit to Dunboyne / Dunsany.
- After about 1000 yards, turn left following the signposts for Dunsany on the L2210.
- Keep straight on this road and after approx. 4.5 miles you will cross over the R154 You will see the Dunsany Lodge Hotel on your left at this junction. (busy junction)
- Continue for 2 miles following signs for Dunsany
- You will drive over a narrow bridge and through a heavily forested area with old castle ruins on the right and as you come into the village of Dunsany,
- Take a right turn and will see the brown signs for Killeen Castle.
- Follow this road until you come to the main gate on your left to Killeen Castle.

Once inside the gate, follow the driveway (past the castle and walled garden) Follow the driveway around the bend to the left. Please park in front of the ForeGolf building or continue straight to the main carpark past the Clubhouse. Feel free to drop off your clubs first.

From The North / M1 / Drogheda / Navan / M3 / Junction 6

- From the M1 come off at Drogheda at junction 10 – signposted towards Slane/Navan Town.
- Once in Navan Town follow signs for M3 Motorway to Dublin.
- Exit M3 at Junction 6 – at the top of the ramp take first exit on roundabout and follow signs for Dunsany/Killeen Castle.
- At the next roundabout take first exit and follow brown signs for Killeen Castle.
- At the top of the ramp take the 3rd Exit onto the N3 and head towards Dunshaughlin.
- Continue for approx. 7.5 miles from the roundabout take a right turn at the 1st set of lights (just past the Campus Garage on the left with the Arch Bar).
- Follow the road until you come to a roundabout
- Go straight thru (follow the brown signs to Killeen Castle).
- Continue on this road until you come to another roundabout, take 1st exit left
- Follow the road until you come to the entrance gate of Killeen Castle on the right.

From Northern Ireland

If you are coming from the North of Ireland there are many ways to come across country to us but we found the route a little difficult to navigate, this is the most direct route

- Follow the N1 to the M-50, heading south
- Exit at Junction 6 Signposted for The N3 - Cavan/Blanchardstown/Castleknock.
- Keep right on the ramp for the N3
- Continue on this road (you will go past the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre)
- Merges onto the M3, pass through the Toll station
- Exit 6 for Dunshaughlin/Trim (follow brown signs for Killeen Castle)
- Take the 3rd exit off the roundabout signposted for Trim and Kilcock.
- At the next roundabout take the 1st exit for R125 to Dunshaughlin.
- At the next roundabout take the 1st exit and signposted for Killeen Castle.
- Continue on this road, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit
- Continue on this road (approx. 1 mile), the Killeen Castle gate is on the right

Want to avoid the M50 or M3 toll?

If you want to avoid the M50 Toll

Toll is located between Junction 6 (N3 Blanchardstown) and Junction 7 (N4 Lucan)
- Avoid traveling between Junction 6 and 7 on the M50
- Make an alternative route to the N3 (Junction 6 Blanchardstown / Cavan) via The Phoenix Park, the Old Navan Road or Castleknock.

If you want to avoid the M3 Toll

Continue past Blachardstown and continue on the N3 M3
- Exit before the toll at Junction 5 for Dunshaughlin
- Follow the signs for Dunshaughlin
- Enter and go to the end of Dunshaughlin village
- Turn Left (signposted Dunsany & Killeen Castle)
- Pass the schools and GAA grounds
- Continue for 1.5km to the roundabout, take the 2nd exit (signposted Dunsany)
- Take first left off the next roundabout
- Continue for 0.5km to the front gates of Killeen Castle on the right hand side
