Appointment

You make your appointment to spend some time with Derek or Dave and simply hit some balls. We need to get to know you and what you can do and see what happens when it all goes wrong. We need to measure your current clubs and figure out how where to manipulate the new clubs based on how you hit the ball. Remember we're here to build the clubs around you - you just swing as normal.

Custom Fit

We have no affiliation to any one golf company and in order to get you, the golfer, exactly what you need we have 9 different brands to test you with. We also have access to specialized shafts to suit every type of swing, strength and ability. Along the way we use our knowledge and experience to help explain the different clubs performance and how they affect each shot. We give you choices and cater for every club possibility but all the time focusing on better feel and more consistency. The performance from the test clubs that work best is then replicated and custom built to suit you. We use the most advanced launch monitors to verify our findings and use them to show you the future improvements but we fit for feel first and flight second. There's not much point letting the machine tell you what club to use if it doesn't feel right.

Advice

At the end of your session you'll get a club order list. It will include costs for all new or rebuilt clubs. Like a menu you can choose as much or as little as you like. You can place an order and pay a deposit on the day, or at a later date.

Order

Once you place your order we calculate our workshop build sheet. We pull together all the correct head weights, shaft flexes, grip sizes and any special requests from the golfer. Clubs normally take 10 -14 working days from date of order.

Build

Clubs are hand-built and individually calibrated to the workshop sheet. Most other golf shops would call this "unpacking boxes". But getting this part wrong makes the whole fitting pointless. We have insanely tight control measures in our workshop where every single club is built and checked to spec. Apart from our clubmaking awards - we have 15 years of custom fitting experience. We have trained on tour, and custom fitted every type of golfer. We don’t just rely on a launch monitor to tell us what you need, we fit by eye, feel and flight.
