With a huge move towards refining the manufacturing techniques of heads, shafts and grips to make them lighter in weight the slower swingers of the world will benefit greatly from this process.
Senior golfers especially will see huge gains for their game as when the club is lighter, especially the shaft the head will go faster and make the ball fly further.
The real key to helping senior golfers both ladies and gents is to make the shaft work with them to get the ball to want to stay in the air for longer.
When the ball wants to fly it will go further and make the golfer more confident as the club does most of the work. When the swing gets slower, the shoulder turn gets shorter and the power starts to decrease the shaft, the lighter weight and the tip of the shaft can be used to put the hit back into the shot. This improves the rhythm of the swing as the golfer doesn’t need to try and hit the ball harder as the shaft starts to work with the golfer.
