New clubs for 2014 : a quick guide

We are not your normal golf shop, we build custom fitted golf clubs ….

We’ve been really busy testing all the new heads and shafts and working out the very complicated list of what heads work best with what shafts. We’re expecting the next delivery of new product from Titleist, Mizuno and Ping in the coming weeks.

Right now, the following 2014 product is available for fitting and building

TaylorMade:
ForeGolf is the only company in Europe to get component heads from TaylorMade and can build clubs outside of their factory. This allows us to give our customers build and shaft options not available elsewhere.

• The new SLDR driver is proving to be a very complicated driver and Fairway wood to fit.
• We’ve been testing for performance and we have cracked the code on this one and with the right shaft, loft and setup ball flight and yardage has improved.
• We have the new JetSpeed driver, Fway and hybrids all ready to build with some of the best shafts around.
• The 2014 MB, MC and CB iron heads are providing us with some great combinations to help our customers get great iron flight and performance.
• As the only golf outlet in Europe and one of a handful in the world to have the heads from Taylor Made we can ensure our golfers get the very best performing clubs on the planet.

Callaway Golf
ForeGolf is the only company in the world to get component heads and build Callaway clubs outside of their factory.

• The Big Bertha drives, Fway woods and irons are all available.
• We managed to find a really great shaft to make the driver go really straight and feel great.
• The new Apex iron is by far one of the best heads this season and our tip for the top. Again it’s all about the shaft with the iron and we’ve cooked up a superb combination to test and build with.

Adams
Adams is now owned by the Adidas group who also own Ashworth and TaylorMade. As a stand-alone company they really impressed us last year with their unique range of speed slot technology clubs, so we now have their component heads ready to build in our WorkShop.

• The new XTD driver, Fway, hybrids and irons are really fast off the face.
• For the better player the Proto hybrids are a class above the rest.
• We see a very exciting future from this very innovative brand.

Nike
We’ve had a long-time steady relationship with the guys at Nike. We’ve trained at their base, The Oven in Dallas, Texas and also on numerous visits to their European HQ in Hilversum outside Amsterdam. This year after testing their new Nike Covert 2.0 Tour driver, we have agreed to pilot a scheme where we can build the drivers, ForeGolf are the first in Europe to have this special arrangement.

• The Covert 2.0 feels and flies much better than its predecessor
• A very tune-able hosel to tweak pitch angle and with the right shaft we will be able to get this driver humming.

Cobra
ForeGolf is the only place in the world to be allowed the component heads from Cobra/ Puma to build in our WorkShop. We are the only Cobra retailer in Ireland to have their ultimate fitting kit, “the Big Gig” giving our customers access to every single head in right and left handed.

• The new Bio Cell and Bio Cell+ ranges are so easy to work with and we’ve gone with the silver and blue colour ways this season.
• As with any loft or pitch adjustable hosels the shaft fitting is paramount and we’ve got this range of woods and irons nailed down.
• Distance, forgiveness and performance all rolled into the best built clubs for you.

Wilson
ForeGolf is the only company in Europe to get component heads from Wilson and can build clubs outside of their factory. This allows us to give our customers build and shaft options not available elsewhere.
Wilson are celebrating 100 years in sport and if you thought that you can’t teach and old dog new tricks, you’re wrong and its thanks to a guy called Michael Vrska.

• This year’s M3 range of driver, Fway wood, hybrid and forged iron will all have you wide eyed with disbelief in our Clubroom.
• The driver performs best around the 112-116 mph of ball speed and if your current driver is over 3 years old we can guarantee 12-18 yards of extra distance with this new driver once we build it just for you.
• Matching Fairway woods, hybrid and irons will see you re-embrace this famous brand with some very cool, up to date technology.

Titleist / Mizuno / Ping
We will have more updates on the new wedges from Titleist, the new woods from Mizuno and new irons and woods from PING in the coming weeks.

The Titleist range (driver, fairway wood, hybrid and irons) and full range of Mizuno irons are available as they carry over from last year.
