His swing profile is well balanced and swings good but gets a little out to in.
Derek’s clubs are all built around feel and balance. The swingweight or balance of the clubs is what’s very important. He needs to feel the shaft tip all the time so a mid torque value of the shaft is very necessary. He also suffers with a miss to the right so this mid torque helps to square the face better. Where he struggles most (driver and hybrids) the club is also adjusted at the hosel to close the face a little just to protect the bad swing or miss-timed hit.

Irons: Callaway Apex Pro Forged 5-PW with Custom Green Steel KBS Tour Stiff shafts, +1/2” longer than standard, swingweight is D2, lie is 2* Upright and lofts 1* strong.

Interesting Fact: He has a lucky putter cover given to him by his good friend Mark and carries Old Head tees and ball markers in a UPS tartan bag.
