A special thanks to Christine and all at Foregolf. I bought a set of Callaway Apex irons in 2018 and have waited to put up this review. To say I have gained confidence thanks my equipment is an understatement. Having identified exactly what I needed the Foregolf crew created a bespoke set of irons that have helped to address some of the issues I had. I now stand over the ball with the huge confidence thanks to my irons. A few weeks ago I had the misfortune of snapping the shaft on my seven iron. Anxious to get it fixed I rang Foregolf to get a replacement shaft. Again they couldn't have been more helpful and despite their issues with a burst water pipe they still delivered. They even went out of their way to pick up and deliver the club back to me so as I wasn't put out at all. Christine organised a special pick up and delivery and I thank her for this. I look forward to getting out tomorrow with my full set again and put in another improved score thank to the irons Foregolf fitted for me. This is a business that should be used as a case study in customer service, delivery of an excellent product and customer experience.

I am an avid golfer and had never been to Fore before.What an experience - I've been through a fitting for woods with McGuirks previously but this was on another level.Lovely welcome chat with Don when I arrived followed by a cup of tea and a few balls to go and hit to warm up in my own time for 15 mins or so.Once the fitting began Dave had me hit a few shots with my old irons - after about 10 minutes of assessing my swing and ball flight alongside the Trackman data we both new what improvements I was looking for (reduce spin to bring my ball flight down). Dave spent the guts of the next hour going through every little detail to achieve this , combining dozens of different shaft / head combinations in varying lengths and setups etc until we found a shaft & head combo that was consistently bringing my spin down from 7000rpm to 5000rpm without changing a single thing about my swing. From start to finish the entire experience was a pleasure andTotal price for my new set of irons - custom fit for me - was only €250 more than the same set off the rack in the McGuirks/Halpenny, with no customisation etc - so money well spent in my opinion.I cannot recommend Foregolf enough.From the people running it to the experience itself -What a pleasure!

Had my golf clubs stolen on Friday morning and Derek and Dave quickly made a horrible situation much better. I had been with Dave a few months ago for a new Driver and I was very happy with the new club. Met with Dave yesterday afternoon and hopefully I will have my new clubs next week. Fantastic service. First trip to ForeGolf after hearing consistant positive feedback from frieds and colleagues. Fantastic setup, friendly and professional staff who made us feel like part of the family. It was an excellent experience all the staff were great. They create a very relaxed environment for the fitting and inform you why they’re making changes to any of the models being tested. It was eye opening to me how ill suited the shelf bought driver I currently own was to my swing, if you’re going to make the investment in new clubs I 100% recommend you get fitted at Foregolf you won’t regret it. Recently had a fitting with Fore Golf for a new driver and to say that the customer service was second to none is an understatement. I arrived slightly earlier than my scheduled time but was made feel very welcome and was looked after with a cup of tea on what was a freezing cold day. The proposed fitting time was suppose to be 30mins, however David (club fitter) was not satisfied that we had found the right setup for me that the fitting actually ending up being nearly 45mins with no pressure being put on me what so ever to hurry up. He was looking out for what was best for me and my game which i greatly appreciated. In the end all the information was presented in an easy to understand format. What i found most satisfying was that David did not come across as a salesman that you would potentially find in traditional golf shops. Instead of trying to flog the most expensive driver on the market to make the most coin he recommended the one that suited my needs based on the data. Again, following on from his recommendation i did not feel pressured to buy the driver then and there. I was given an expected delivery date for my driver and much to my surprise it arrived a week earlier than expected which was a nice bonus. On opening the box, i really liked the personal message from Don that was included, wishing me all the best with my game. It was something i was not expecting but such a small, easy to do piece of detail is just classy. As for the driver, it has been money well spent thus far. I have been miles more accurate and straighter and that has transitioned to my scorecard too!I would highly recommend Fore Golf to anyone looking for a custom set of clubs or looking to improve their game. I know i will be back in the future!

Was fitted by Fore golf a few weeks ago for a new driver.Got the new club two weeks ago and this weekend I came third in a three day singles event in Mount Juliet, and hit 13 of 14 fairways in the process.The club I ended up with wasn't what I expected but my dispersion is now way down and I can swing with confidence.The whole experience was fabulous, and I highly recommend them, they really know what they're doing. My only regret is that I didn't do this years ago.

Lovely to revisit Christine, Don and Dave for a session after 8 years. New facility is fantastic and Dave's knowledge and relaxed approach is a joy. Having been lucky enough to win the Foregolf competition on Instagram prior to Christmas (their competitions are real) I paid my first visit on 31st January. I was put at ease straight away by Christine with the offer of Tea/Coffee as I waited and Don came out of the workshop for a chat and to explain how the process worked. Just swing as you normally would and we'll fit the Clubs for your swing. Not the other way round.After a few minutes I was brought in to warm up and get loosened up before the fitting began. The first thing that struck me was the surface you were hitting off wasn't just a normal mat but made to feel like you were hitting off grass where you didn't get away with an imperfect contact like you might at a driving range.I was met by Dave then and we discussed what we wanted to get from the fitting which for me was basically a full bag check and see what was on offer. I tried various irons and shaft combinations with varying degrees of success before moving on to the woods. My existing woods were a bit of a mishmash with a rescue which favored going left, a 4 wood which came out of the heel and a driver which spun too much.We eventually settled on the Titleist TS3 driver & 3 wood with a set up to suit me as well as a 19 & 23 degree rescues to bridge the gap from my irons. Dave explained he could improve my irons but with the woods I would have a club in the bag to manage the distances all the way up to driver.I really enjoyed the experience with Dave, he was genuinely interested, explaining plenty to me as we went on. Plenty of variety and easy to see what would suit or not suit the individual. There was no hard sell either on his part trying just to get a sale.All in all an experience that if you are serious about your golf you should look to pay them a visit and check out for yourself what they offer.

Thanks to winning one of ForeGolf's facebook competitions (I didn't believe anybody won these!), I had the opportunity to make my 4th visit last week for a full bag review. It was perfect timing as I had been thinking about changing my 3 wood and hybrid. From Christine's friendly smile and offer of a cuppa upon arrival, to Don sitting down to chat before the fitting and Derek taking the time to do likewise afterwards and through to the actual fitting with David, I had a brilliant time. David had also done my first fitting back in 2009 and once again it was a fun filled and enjoyable session. He used his expertise along with my feedback and the trackman data to provide me with a variety different club heads and shafts to try out. He has a great knowledge and a very friendly and easy manner as we talked through every option to find the one what suited me best. In the end I have ordered the Titleist TS3 3 and 5 wood and I can't wait to get my hands on them. There was also no pressure to purchase any of the clubs.Thanks again guys and keep up the good work and a brilliant service.

I visited ForeGolf last January (2018). I was fitted for the full bag. On arrival I was greeted, made at ease & enjoyed a coffee while I hit balls in the bay on my own. By the time Dave came in I had warmed up & got the bad shots out of the system. He went through the different club heads & shafts & was very thorough with this. I was not happy with how I hit my driver on the day & thought this would affect the fitting but I don't think it did. I had one driver I felt very happy with & hoped that would be the one Dave recommended. I said nothing & it turned out to be the recommended driver. We looked at the rest of my bag & Dave felt that I was ok with the 3 wood & rescue. He changed the setting n the 3-wood for me. I got my clubs & did not take too long to get used to them. I was part of our Purcell team that lost in the Munster Final & a few weeks later shot -1 off 12. I am currently playing off 9.6. I went back up about a month ago & got fitted for wedges as my gapping was a little off after getting the new irons & as I had got really used to the extra quarter inch on the irons and were not on my old wedges. Again I received the same warm welcome & brought two of my friends from Cork as well up with me for full fittings. I was fitted first & deliberately did not look at any wedge I was hitting to avoid bias (previously used vokeys). I hit one wedge consistently & that was what I was fitted for. It was not a wedge I would have picked (Mizuno) but have been very happy with them so far. While the boys were being fitted Derek answered all our questions, discussed clubs, drew us coffee & gave us range balls to hit while we were waiting. You can get clubs anywhere but you will always wonder should I have different shafts, longer shafts etc. Once you leave ForeGolf you can eliminate all those questions & doubts. You don't want any doubts on the golf course. Thank you ForeGolf.

For years I struggled with huge inconsistency in my game across all clubs. A 15 handicapper going in the wrong direction - and fast. Hooks, slices, fat, thin - I had them all in abundance. Following a visit to ForeGolf and taking up their recommendation for a new set of irons, fairway wood, hybrid and driver, over the last few months my ball striking has improved immensely. To the point that I’m now playing the most consistent golf I’ve ever played. And what can I put this down to? The attention to detail in building a set of clubs that maximise the strengths of my swing and minimises the “misses” we all have in our game. I’m much more confident off the tee and also in approach shots - rather then not knowing where the hell the ball was going to go! This can only be done with the correct lie angle, heads correctly weighted, shafts appropriate to swing speed, and all perfectly built to world class standards on site to the right specification. The custom fitting experience at ForeGolf is fantastic - but the medicine needs to be taken. If the recommendation is for a new set do what you can/must to take it on. You don’t have to go the whole set - if that’s the recommendation - start with driver or a hybrid and eventually get your desired outcome. Going to ForeGolf and and not taking onboard the custom built prescription is akin to going to the doctor, getting a prescription for an illness and then going out the door and buying a generic drug over the internet. It may appear to be the same but is it really?

so we're nearly a year down the line with the driver and 3 wood.the best testimony I can give is I hit 13 of 14 fairways at enniscrone and the one I missed was by an inch.have never been as comfortable as with the driver fitted for me by fore golf.3 wood ain't bad either😉.my only problem now is saving up for a new set of irons to get back in there. thanks again and hope all at foregolf have a great christmas

I attended foregolf about 5 years ago as a 22 handicap. Since then My handicap has dropped to 15 and I returned to foregolf to do another fitting. During the fitting I was told that there was no major difference in the club's I was hitting and the club's I already had. There was absolutely no pressure put on me to purchase new clubs. The fitting itself, I'd recommend to anyone it's fantastic. 10/10

The best fun you can have not under the duvet! Seriously, if you love golf, get yourself here. They are very professional and very friendly. The place is like a Willy Wonka factory for golfers. I learned a lot and I have been a low handicapper for a long time. I am just disappointed with myself I didnt come here sooner.

I promised myself if I was playing golf regularly enough that I’d buy new fitted clubs, I had every intention of going to the “high street” shops or a club pro but I heard about Foregolf from a friend, I done some research and decided this is the way to go so I recently got fitted in Foregolf.... and I absolutely loved it!! From the moment I walked in Derek made me feel very welcome and unbelievably at ease... I went for the full bag check and would 100% recommend it, you are under absolutely no obligation to buy when you visit... but of course I did... I went with Mizuno irons and wedges that I couldn’t wait to pick up, I have only played with my new clubs 4 times and have lost a shot already!! I am defo going to get my 3wood and rescue off Foregolf sooner rather than later!! If you love your golf get yourself up here for a bag check, best money I’ve ever spent!! Thanks again Folks... I got fitted recently and they are very professional and friendly..they ensure you get the right fit for you whether you are technical or a feel golfer or a bit of both. my new clubs are sweet and work really well . well worth it whether it's one club or the whole bag .you will notice the difference.they are craftsmen of golf without a doubt. Don't waste your money on off the shelf clubs..

I had tried for the past 4 to 6 years to replace an old brass headed putter and it was beginning to drive me crazy. I was recommended by a friend who knew Derek and I booked a 30 mins putter fitting. I brought along 3 of the many putters I had bought and was using depending on which one let me down the least on any given month. The set up and team are great I was taken straight in and told to putt away. I was told I have a straight putting path and all 3 of the putters I brought along were toe heavy putters and all bar one were far to long. I am 5ft 6in tall and was shown that I struggled to get my eye line within 5 inches above the ball path. Two of the putters I was fitted for by a well known retailer. At foregolf I was given a series of putters to see what I liked to try and balance it with what I needed. Such a great experience and I left realising I wasn't mad the last few years struggling from 4 ft. My weight and roll were really good according to the data so once I had the right club put in my hand it felt great. This is a REAL fitting center and until you experience the data and the method of fitting I don't think you can appreciate it. Regarding cost I am currently waiting on my less than 250 euros odyssey putter from foregolf which will replace the putters I had previously bought, one of which was a scotty which cost over 350 euros so that puts it all into perspective... I loved it, so thanks a million I can't wait to beat old scoresJohn

Great experience at ForeGolf at their Killeen Castle base. Warm welcome from Christine and a nice chat with Don who took the time to share his knowledge and show me his workshop. A full bag fitting with Dave was time well spent - great insight and understanding and a gent to work with. This was the best fun I’ve had hitting golf balls ever. Not just for low handicapped players. I’m an 18 hacker, and it was fantastic. No need to be overawed. The level of technology is awesome but simply explained to an ordinary player. New irons on the way, and I might not stop there. Golf is a hard game, but technology has moved on. Use it, it’s a great help.

This was my second time with ForeGolf. I got a full bag last time (7 years ago) when they were working from the tour van. The new set up in Killeen Castle is simply magnificent. I had been there briefly a couple of years ago to have them replace the shaft on a damaged iron (another great reason to have custom clubs made, you can replace or add to the set). It’s hard to describe the customer service you get here. It’s a family run business and you get welcomed like a long lost cousin while being treated absolutely professionally at the same time. I imagine Richard Branson would give them 10/10. Fitting clubs is part art, part science, and a little black magic! If you have ever been fitted by one of the big brands at a club day or in a shop and think you know what it’s all about - you’re dead wrong. This is the real deal - fitting and custom making clubs on steroids. To sort out the driver I hit about 7 different heads with varying combinations of shafts as Dave worked the trackman data and my feed back to find a set up that I was confident with and created a ball flight I liked. Reduced spin, a gentle draw and a consistent 30 yards extra carry was the result 👍. All round just great service from lovely people who know their onions.

If you love golf...this place is heaven. From the minute you walk in it’s warm, welcoming and more importantly it’s personal. The staff are amazingly friendly, golf enthusiasts! Christine welcomes you like it’s your own mammy behind the counter, an absolute lady. I got chatting to Don and his knowledge of clubs and fits is incredible. His theory and knowledge is simplistic yet masterful in thought. You could spend the day talking to him! I got my fit from dave. After a couple of strokes of my own clubs you could sense he automatically knew what to put in your hands and when he put the right club in my hand I didn’t want to leave. I don’t carry a driver, but I left wanting one so badly when dave found exactly what I was looking for down to a tee!!!! The hour wasn’t long enough I could of stayed all day!! It’s an amazing place with top class service. I implore any golfer to go here and not come out totally enthusiastic about their golf game. Will purchase and will be back. We’re extremely lucky to have such a facility in Ireland . Well done guys

Just got back fom my second session at ForeGolf> I got a driver and two wedges the first time, which have made real difference, so this time I went to get the lads to look at the rest of the bag. These guys a skilled craftsmen with a real depth of knowledge on the engineering of golf clubs. Derek showed me a pair of fairway woods that I would never have looked at otherwise, and the difference was amazing. Add to that the warm welcome and the commitment to qualtiy and you have a first class service. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

I cannot recommend this place enough!! I drove up from Cork to get fitted for full bag and putter. Was welcomed by Don when I walked in the door and he couldn't have made me feel more relaxed. We got chatting and I instantly knew I made a good choice. His knowledge of the technical side of golf was incredible. I was introduced to Dave shortly after, who done the fitting for me. Again, a very welcoming person and a fountain of knowledge. He answered every question I had and more. The facilities are top notch and the staff will go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and that your golf game is more important to them than getting your money. A truly welcoming and incredible experience. Couldn't be happier with how my day went and I cannot thank the staff enough for making me feel welcome and as comfortable as they did. Thank you!

I can't say enough Driving up to foregolf I was a little nervous ad this was my first fitting and I had no idea what to expect.. Straight away I was greeted by Jill with a big smile she told me to place my bag on ground and asked me if I would like a cup of tea or coffee, about 30 seconds later Jill asked me would I like to warm up using a few practice balls and directed me In the right direction of the practice are, I got about 30 balls and came back to the reception I sat down for about a minute when Dave appeared introduced himself now at this point I was rattling inside.. we went into the fitting bay and he asked me what I wanted from my golf game.. I explained what I wanted and then I started to hit balls.. first one was perfect next one topped it third topped it Dave was quick to see I was nervous and explained to me I was to tense so after a minute or so I was relaxed and I hit some more balls started to took them again and this time it was because I was swaying in the back swing quick again to notice the swaying but in a friendly way not like some pros where there practically giving out to you so we started again and once again perfect and relaxed... Dave gave me my reccomaditions and I wanted a whole new full set of clubs but he explained I didn't need to change my woods so this is not a gimic where they try over charge you for clubs you don't need..after the fitting Don came out and introduced himself and gave me a tour of the factory they have inside the shop and explained to me how each club was made and told me mine would be made to the exact spec of my fitting.. big thanks to Don, Dave, Christine and Jill top class fitting experience I would highly recommend this to any golfer from scratch to 24

I could not recommend Fore Golf highly enough. These guys are fantastic. With the service they offer you would be crazy going to a golf shop to get a 'fitting' for new clubs. I'd just like to say what a great experience I had at Foregolf. I went for a full bag check and ended up getting a M3 driver and M4 3 wood. I was fitted by Dave who recommended all my other clubs were fine and did not need changed. There was no pressure to buy and had a great chat with Don before the fitting. Would definitely recommend them.

I just wanted to say a great big thanks for the fitting experience I had as a birthday present last month. I was absolutely delighted and blown away by the whole process and the detail that Dave went into with myself and brother. He was very easy to talk to and helped me settle into the process very comfortably. Also to Christine and Don a big thanks for your kind words and chat as we waited and just before we left. I had read many times over about Don’s dedication and knowledge in this industry but to meet the man and have a good humoured chin wag with him was just brilliant!As they say however behind every good man there is a wonderful woman and that’s certainly true of Christine. Ps. I was fitted for a new Cobra F8 driver and M4 irons and received them some 3 weeks later. I have since played a couple of rounds and had a few sessions at the range. First impressions are very positive and they are proving to be every bit worth the trip and money and I’m looking forward to a few months of good weather and some good golf.I thoroughly recommend Foregolf and would encourage anyone to get down to Killeen castle and get a session done!Many thanks and can I take this opportunity to thank all at Foregolf again and wish them all the best for the future and I hope to visit again!

I really couldn’t recommend Foregolf highly enough. I went for a full bag check last year and came away with new Driver, 5 wood and irons. Being able to try the different brands was fantastic, we identified what best suited my game very quickly and they recommended what I should get. There was no hard sell, I also hit my 3 wood and wedges and was advised they suited me and no need to change. The customer service from start to finish was exceptional and the clubs have made a massive difference to my game. If anyone is reading this and is on the fence about going for a fitting, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Went down last week for a full bag fitting and the experience was exceptional. Dave went through a large number of different types of irons and made the decision easy for me in the end. Amazing experience from the second I walked in. I was greeted by Christine at reception and even got to chat Don about some of his amazing golfing experiences over the years. Dave was so easy going throughout the fitting session and his wealth of knowledge is quiet staggering. The facilities are second to none. I could of stayed there all day !!! My trips to ForeGolf are always fantastic. I was with them last year and got fitted for a driver and faraway wood. I went back again this week to get fitted for irons. The entire experience is well worth the money and the change that the fitting has made in my golf game is noticeable. You are always greeted with a smile and the service you receive in the fitting room is second to none. I would highly recommend anyone to go and see them.

Decided to go back playing golf about 18 months ago after a 10 yr break and started off buying clubs i liked the look of and ones i read about that might suit me. Gathered up a decent bit of gear that i liked and sometimes worked but eventually decided to go to Foregolf to get properlyfit/looked at and see what they thought. Surprised was an understatement.Probably the best experience ive had in golf overall. I like the science involved in clubs and gear nowadays than was there before and the knowledge i gained from the fitting was unbelievable. The honesty and lack of selling surprises me still, as i know this is a business and the mantra of a business, is to make money. David showed me the difference in what i thought i knew, to what works and then put it into practice in fitting me for irons that gained me 40yrds�7 iron old- 165ish, 7 Iron new,205ish.Iron fitting sorted and we moved to hybrids and after a few hits, he said he couldn’t better what i had. That was a shock as you expect they will try sell.3 wood was ok but pulling right so instead of trying to sell a new one, he changed the setting and head weight and never hit it as well. Driver was much the same & did show a chance of 15% improvement but weighed up the financial cost to an extra 35ish yrds wouldn’t mean much to spend big bucks unnecessarily. Overall im looking so forward to the season ahead for a few reasons.Confidence in clubs eventually.More room in the shed & utility room.A less nagging wife because ive less clubs lying around everywhere��If you’re interested in improving, book in.

Ok so finally got back to ForeGolf yesterday for my long awaited driver fitting after my last visit. Last time as below I wasnt able to get fitted because as I like to say, I was rubbish, numbers didnt add up. So went and got a few lessons with Rebecca Codd and Tadgh Harrington (Harrington Golf Academy) and with Kevin Foy (PGA Pro Stepaside Driving Range). This did the trick. Spin Rate was less than half what it was before, still have a few timing issues but all in all really happy, we were able to get fitted. Just like the last time met the famous Dom for the customary pre fit chin wag and look around the custom fit workshop, and as always left with a lot more worldly knowledge. Then into Dave for the fitting, I would highly recommend anyone getting fitted in foregolf to go to Dave. He is able to explain every part of the process easily and is a really easy guy to get on with. Mind you I have never been to anyone else for fitting there . If you havent bee to ForeGolf, GET THERE. Amazing and well worth the extra few bob to get fitted there. I will be back soon enough for woods fitting. Cheers GuysSo finally went to foregolf for a driver fitting recently after hearing a lot of great reviews . Well mine will be no different . Met don and had a great chin wag . Showed me all the different things they can do with clubs. WOW didnt even know half it was possible . Thanks don . So went into dave for driver fitting and dave came to the conclusion that he wouldnt sell me a driver because my swing wasnt at the stage were a new driver could do anything for me !!! I was SHOCKED with the honesty in a good way . If i had gone anywhere else i would of walked out paying 300 - 700€ for a driver i wasnt ready for . So i have booked back in for the end of march after tadhg and rebecca @ harrington golf academy sort out my swing . Dave thats the best service and piece of advice i ever got . Not only were you honest but you also even took the extra time to give me some pointers . Its just a shame i got new irons fitted elsewhere last year because i would love to get fitted for those from you guys. Really looking forward to coming down to foregolf in march for the second go and seeing how much those numbers change . I will be sending all my friends to you in the future . I've dreamt of a trip to ForeGolf with a few years now. I got the opportunity (thanks to a Christmas/Birthday present combo) and every expectation was blown out of the water. The facility is second to none. I was being fit for a putter, however I will be going back once my irons need upgrading as the range of specifications and build quality is truly awe inspiring. Having a massive interest in the technology behind the products themselves I could only describe the whole process as dreamland. I had a great conversation about all things golf with Derek beforehand and my putter fitting with Dave on Trackman 4 was massively insightful into the advantages and spec differences between each model I tried and all explained simply and effectively. Forget the high street golf shops, if your serious about your game then get your clubs built at ForeGolf you'll never look back and you will be a better golfer.

I got the full bag custom fit done with Dave. Worth every penny. Hard to believe the difference that the correct equipment can make to your ball striking and flight. Very good experience they made it very personable and all about your own game and how you could improve. They were able to find me an extra 45 yards off the tee. I recently had a full bag fitting at Four Golf. A great experience. My main area of interest was the Irons, mine could go any distance from too short to too long with lots of misses to the left. The strike pattern could be anywhere on the face, from heel to toe. I thought this was my swing. After giving a bit of my background and history of various clubs I have owned and hitting balls, David nodded and started selecting a shaft / head combination that he felt would solve the problem. The first ball I hit went right where I aimed it, and so did the next 5. The strike pattern was all on the centre of the club (remember my swing is still the same). The distance was consistent too. Who would have thought changing a shaft would have that effect. Changing the heads was the icing on the cake.My woods were generally OK, but he fine-tuned the settings to give a better ball flight and straighter. Richie

Superb set up I could have spent all day there. All the staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. With the latest version of Trackman giving you a whole host of stats it really opened my eyes as to how much of a difference the correct set up can make to your game. Whether you are in the market for new clubs or just want the lowdown on what you are currently playing I would highly recommend a visit. I have had custom fit at high street stores in previous years but this is on another plant.

Have had a couple of custom fittings here, service is second to none. Their attention to detail is excellent. 1st fitting work a treat, the second time I wasn't hitting the ball consistently enough to get an accurate fit. As explained by the member of staff, he could give me something but he would rather I came back and got re-fit when I was hitting the ball more solid. This just shows the emphasis on customer satisfaction and providing the best service possible. Highly recommend to anybody who seriously wants to improve their game.

Had a truly great experience at Foregolf ! I wanted to get fitted for a driver. I tried my own just to see where I was at. After 5 different heads with 2-3 shaft changes on some of them, I found one that suited. Seeing all your stats on the large screen on the wall behind you and having it all explained and how it all impacts the end result gives a great understanding of how real custom fitting works. It's all in front of you, no big mystery to it. Foregolf is just a must for anyone who is serious about their game. Buying straight out of a shop or online is a waste of time if you want results and improvement to your game. There's an old saying "you can't buy a golf game" what you can buy are woods, irons, wedges & a putter that suit you, that give you the best results out on the course ! I'll be back in February for a full bag fitting after some practice over the winter. Well done Foregolf, utmost professionals �

Last week I was the Ladies Nett Winner of the ISPS Handa Irish Blind Golf Open 2017. In the 36 hole tournament with 38 international blind and visually impaired golfers, I achieved my 2 highest ever scores. One of the critical success factors to this win was Foregolf. The amazing team - Derek David Don and Christine were so welcoming and so supportive as I entered my third year playing golf. I learned so much about clubs from David during our 2 hour session. "Custom fitting" is a term bandied around by retail chains to hook you but unless you've booked time with ForeGolf you'll never really appreciate all the detail and what "custom fitting" entails. Secondly as a customer and I hate using that term because it's one thing your not after an experience, your a friend or addition to the family as best describes the exchange and interaction and how ForeGolf mind you along the journey interacting with them. A gem of a company doing great things because of the people that make it up. Highly recommend any level of golfer to book time with ForeGolf as you will be amazed at what you learn (unlearn all that retail and club advice) and see the benefits to be had to your game. Our son 13 moved off junior clubs as he was progressing from Cadets to Juveniles and ForeGolf bag review in Nov 2016. First two comp's of 2017 season he's been cut -10 off h'cap. i cannot commend the team at Foregolf enough for their kind and professional approach to my fitting sessions. Christine was welcoming and reassuring in equal measure. David fitted me with a driver that has both cured a perennial slice and added yards to my distance off the tee and, more importantly, provided me confidence on the tee. He also provided me with a fairway wood that is both accurate and long. For the first time in 30 years I have clubs that actually work for me. Such is my delight that I have decided to replace my other fairway wood with another Foregolf hand built special. Well done indeed.

I went up to Foregolf in killeen castle yesterday for a full custom fit and it was a brilliant experience. I drove a 5 hour round trip and was very much impressed with the professional set up there. From the moment you walk in the door you are made welcome and given real attention. Don and Derek had just flown in earlier that morning from Mizuno HQ in Japan .I was greeted with a complimentary coffee by Christine and then given a basket of range balls to warm up at the drIving range. David Williams did the custom fit and he was so professional. The golf balls are proper taylormade range balls and you are hitting out into a driving range so you can see for yourself the actual ball flight. They use Trackman and there is no hard sell, if they can't out perform your existing clubs then they don't push a sale on you. They don't rush you during the custom fit so you will leave happy. I changed my irons and woods and they threw in a few extra goodies, as well as a free game in Killeen castle golf .Put this place on your Bucket List. , a definate must.

I went to foregolf on Monday,I have to admit I was a bit anxious going but once I arrived i was put at ease.I was offered a cup of T/C and sat down relaxed for a few minutes before went up to driving range to warm up.Im very new to golf and my ball striking wasn't great to start but David's patience was great as eventually got a few good swings flowing.He was able to tell me that my driver was to long and heavy so he has giving me a lighter shaft and a better head to get me on the right direction. Definitely will go back again once my game improves.Thanks for all the help David and team.

I would love to tell you about my experience with Foregolf , 9 March was a fantastic day weather wise & a planned trip to fore golf , I was very excited. Firstly met Christine on check in & a lovely warm welcome I received, got ready & headed into the bay where I met the invincible David Williams & he started to business straight away , I was there for new irons . He went about his business while constantly chatting & answering the many questions I asked . I don't think it was a easy task in hand for him , but as we tried & tested & surprised myself how quickly both of us could eliminate which was going to work. I really enjoyed the complete experience & have a much better understanding of a custom fit . Looking forward to getting my new clubs . Dont wait, treat yourself to this experience because you will get so much more & you will be looking forward to starting the season off knowing you are fully set up & ready to take on the fairways. Third visit and every bit as good as the first two. Firstly, if what you have works, these guys will tell you - there's no danger that they'll suggest you need new clubs or shafts if they don't believe it. But when they do see that what you're using isn't right for you, they're simply brilliant. The whole experience from beginning to end is top class. They'll tinker with shafts, lofts and lies to see if there's anything can make even a little further improvement and settle on what works. And the results are right there in front of you - Trackman shows you all the stats but the ball sailing out over the range right in front of your eyes tells you more than stats will. Can't recommend ForeGolf highly enough.

I had a lovely surprise of a gift to experience a custom fitting with Foregolf .I am a 25 handicapper and truth be told I was nervous as I heard so much good things about the team and what they do at Foregolf. I was so so impressed as Dave Williams and the team explained the custom fitting process in a user freindly way whereby I felt a big part of the decision making and no pressure was ever placed on me to fulfil a order .I can safely say I felt like a professional golfer for that one hour and a bit .My wife Annette whom does not play golf was well looked after by Christine in the office with a lovely cup of coffee and walked the grounds of Kileen Castle .I cannot wait to get my new custom fit clubs and to begin taking a few shots off my handicap with a few wins as a bonus along the way.Thank you to Dave and the team for a great custom club fitting and I look forward to reading about your many successes this year and into the future.

For me the best experience I've had in any fitting and certainly wont be going anywhere else again in the future! Went for a full bag check with my relatively new irons & Driver which were fitted elsewhere. Always felt the lies were not quite right for me and this was spotted straight away. They were a mile off! During the session my own 7iron had the lie adjusted and there was an instant improvement in consistency and grouping of shots. Again with the driver, went through a few different options and was advised that a draw biased version of my own driver was the best option and told that I'd be best getting a second hand version with my own shaft which is exactly what I did. Also got the lies adjusted on my irons at foregolf and what a difference it's made! Came 2nd in the first two competitions since these changes! Cannot recommend foregolf enough and I certainly know where I'll be going the next time around!

I got a voucher for a full bag fitting and didn't really know what to expect when I booked in. As soon as I walked through the door, there was a great vibe. Christine checked me in and made me a coffee while I waited. She is so nice. Then Don who makes all the clubs came out to me for a chat and his enthusiasm for what he did was great. David then brought me out to hit a few balls and went through all the aspects of the swing. The great thing is, the find out what club suits you. I tried a lot of clubs and I can tell you my golf is not good so he had his work cut out for him. He was very friendly, so knowledgeable and just an all round gent. He found the right clubs for me and gave me the price. There was no pressure to but them and you can buy one at a time if you want. I did buy a new driver. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. A special family run business with the customer at the heart of it.

Why Foregolf is the perfect fit?Firstly, I’m an average golfer, nothing special. This might help remove a perception that club fitting is only for good players.If you are like me, then you have probably wondered what is the benefit of getting fitted for golf clubs? Maybe (like myself) you think, sure all clubs are the same, there is no real difference or maybe you think, “I’ll go to Mc Guirks and they will fit me for free” so why use Foregolf? Here is what I found.(1) All golf clubs are different. Different manufacturers use different material and different designs. This has a major impact on your game. For example, my game was impacted by the different spin my clubs created, which affected my distance greatly. Certain clubs have different size club faces, different lie angles and different lofts. Did you know the Mizuno MP5 has a 10% bigger club face than MP4 therefore making it easier to hit? These are all subtle differences that the average golfer will not know about but yet they can greatly impact your ability to hit a golf ball.(2) Every player from the Sunday hacker to the PGA tour pro will have certain swing and impact positions that are unique to you. Club loft, lie angles and shaft stiffness can greatly influence your ball striking. For me, I like light shafts with a heavier club head so I can feel where the club head is at during my swing. I also swing over the top and have a tendency to have a closed club face at impact. With that in mind, the team at Foregolf tailored my clubs to try and compensate for these weaknesses. A standard club bought in a shop would be generic and effectively have “generic settings". An off the shelf club simply can’t compensate for my weaknesses.(3) Foregolf are the ultimate professionals. They deal with all types of manufactures and suppliers so they have a very wide range of clubs and they have the latest and best equipment and facilities. They have fitted everyone from professionals to beginners, yet they take the time to go through the specific requirements of each individual golfer. They never make you feel like they just want to make a sale (which is always my worry with your regular golf shop) or that your level of golf is beneath them, even though they could easily be fitting a top pro on tour next week. In most golf shops, you never really know the background of the guys fitting you or their level of expertise. This is what sets Foregolf apart: they are the best of the best. I have been fitted by Dave Williams twice and bought my 1st set 6 years ago. He is excellent and really knows his stuff, encouraging feedback and questions, breaking down this data into a very digestible format and is also open to general chat, adding to the relaxed setting. Make sure to ask him about his putting!Golf is about controlling the controllables. Custom fitted clubs won’t solve all your problems, but they will arm you with the best tools to becoming a better golfer. Good golf technique can be complexed having THE RIGHT equipment shouldn’t be. This was my second visit to ForeGolf and once again I had an absolute ball. I had a full bag fitting and the going in I had a gap in my existing bag between 4 iron and 5 wood (couldn't trust my hybrid). In relation to the hybrid David advised not getting another hybrid and given the new irons, there would be no gap. So, if people are thinking you'll be 'sold' a load of kit, I was advised not to buy the hybrid. The iron fitting was great fun. Seeing the results on the screen was fantastic. Each club hit has it's own colour and is circled for dispersion. I hit with 6-7 different irons in total. If you are into your gadgets and tech David explains what changes he is making with each shaft and club head in terms of weight, flex, etc. The result for me was not massive increase in distance, but actually a much tighter clustering. The driver fitting was interesting. I currently don't hit my driver and I'm confident and getting decent distance from my 3 wood. But I should be able to find a driver that I can trust and am confident with. The numbers said that while I did find one, there was no noticeable distance gain (9 yards). The advice was that until I update my swing, spending money on a driver was not necessary. The combination of expertise is all clubs, plus a willingness to discuss your game mean I certainly don't feel like kit is being pushed on me. All of the staff are amazing and I can't wait to pick up my clubs in a couple of weeks. Roll on the 2017 season. Thanks to everyone in ForeGolf.

Got fitted yesterday. from the moment you enter the door the friendly atmosphere is unbelievable. was greeted at reception by Christine- a very pleasant down to earth and easy on the eye lady. sat down and was looking at Don inside his bat-cave making clubs. moments later after seeing the expressions on my face in regards to the technology he introduced himself. he invited me inside the workshop to have a look at the equipment in which he uses to make clubs for any individual, any handicap, any level and any requests. highly impressive workshop with 1000's of shafts, heads, grips and basically can make any club from scratch designed for YOU!! Moments later I was greeted by Dave. He's a fitter and worked as so on the PGA for 8years. into the driving bay I went and hundreds of drivers, wedges, irons and putters. looked at my mizuno's and had me hit a few 7i's with tape across the face to show impact. after hitting a few he started handing me various irons to gradually eliminate which would or wouldn't work for my game. I could see by ball flight and feel what was working for me so after going back and forward a few times this particular shaft and club head combination was suiting me perfectly! exact same was done for my driver. by 50mins or so I now had irons and driver which felt identical and loaded the exact same. I also had specific requests from 8i to sandwedge and from 5i to 7i which will be build as per my request. honestly these people can do anything to a golf club in their workshop. you want a specific shaft no prob, a specific head no prob or a specific swing weight no problem. I cannot stress enough how important it is to get golf clubs fitted but fitted properly. you wouldn't buy a suit from a shop without getting some sort of alternations to address height etc unless it was specifically designed for YOU! exact same for golf clubs. overall delighted with the fitting and experience.

I've been to Foregolf many times and every time I'm welcomed like family. Yesterday was no exception. I went to get 2 new wedges to sharpen the short game and the help and advice from Derek and the team was excellent. Foregolf always listen to you as the golfer and work to build the right clubs for your game. After hitting nearly every wedge in the bay it came down to 2 options. Derek cut through the numbers and the complexities and the wedges are in process. It was such a great experience. I play for the love of the game and with the right custom fit clubs from Foregolf I enjoy the game so much more. People often talk about lowering their handicap and scores but I come at it from the other direction - get the right advice and then the right clubs and then you'll enjoy it more and play better. Went to Foregolf for a full bag check. It was good craic and very professional I booked in for 1 hour session a hour and a half later I was still smashing balls!! No hard sell whatsoever!! Dave said I was flushing my irons as good as anyone on tour and there was no need to change them. I ended up with two new shafts one for my 3 wood and one for my rescue. Am now hitting them as pure as driven snow. I also got fitted for a new putter, am now draining putts from everywhere. Dave also recommended the taylormade m1 driver as it had a lower spin rate. However when it got it I was wasn't hitting it as well as my old driver. Went back down to Foregolf they got me to hit balls with both drivers crunched the numbers and agreed I wasn't hitting it as good. Talk about great customer service full refund no questions asked. I cant rate these guys highly enough. If you seriously want to improve your game get booked in to Foregolf. Tell them Wee Dave sent ya!!!

I visited Foregolf as a birthday gift yesterday and was very impressed. Plenty of smiles and good facilities as soon as you arrive. Then down to business in the club room for the fitting. Derek was very professional and personal. I wanted to thank all the staff at ForeGolf for the excellent service I received. .Derek took time to introduce himself and explain how the process worked. He gave me great confidence that their individually custom fitted clubs could improve my game. Dave did the fitting session. I was highly impressed by his depth of knowledge and he took time to explain the different clubs and shaft types I tried. I could see on the computer screen that I was hitting much straighter and longer shots with the clubs he recommended. I have ordered a set of irons,recovery club and a fairway wood. Dave also adjusted my driver which will hopefully result in more consistent shots. With Derek and Dave I knew I was in the hands of experts. I can't wait to try out my new clubs on the course! Wasn't sure what to expect but was warmly welcomed by Derek on arrival. Hit a few balls at the on sight range to loosen up and then had a cuppa while waiting on my fitting. David took me for the actual fitting and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything to a point where even I understood why he was changing a certain setting. This is not a hard sell exercise but truly an experience in getting better. David took me through my bag and left well alone anything that was already working for me. He then worked on strike, control and dispersion. All of which were greatly improved with every adjustment. It's an experience I really enjoyed and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to improve any part of their game. Now looking forward to getting my new clubs and some better weather!

To Everyone in FORE-GOLF.Just wanted to say a massive thank you for a wonderful time last Friday 30th -October the experience will stay with me forever,you are all lovely people and your success is no fluke its simply based on your good personalities / professionalism / knowledge / patience / experience and manners.To start upon entering the grounds of the castle I felt as if I should turn back as I'm not that good of a golfer as the place looks amazing and I was only on the driveway. Then I arrived at Fore-Golf HQ and was greeted by Christine & Don and because i was early fore my appointment a big bucket of practice balls was handed to me by Don and he sent me to the driving range (right next door ) the view is something else and I can only imagine what its like in the summer-time.Anyway down for my appointment and as I was still a-bit early tea was offered and we had a chat about when it all begin for Fore-Golf back in `97. Then into the Fitting room with Dave (a true-gentleman) with a technical golfing brain that had to be admired as he was picking out all sorts of different heads & shafts for me to try out and honestly people I could have stayed there for days just learning and admiring his knowledge.He was simply trying his best to match me to the correct equipment (ex) heads & shafts to make me a better golfer. And the resulSt where clearly visible when compared to my own clubs that I used at the start of the session - (ex) my club 5-iron (165-170) fore-golf recommended club 7-iron (167-175) with an easier swing. Now this is where it gets very interesting as when it came to the DRIVER ( i was simply told that because i was hitting my newly recommended 3-wood 267 yards and also because I'm only back playing a few months that I didn't require a driver at the moment as the fore golf team had told me to simply practice away for 6-months work on my driver swing and come back in the summer for a free session to see if I actually need one.In basic terms I felt very welcomed and at ease in Fore-Golf, I wasn't put under any pressure to purchase and I also saved money by not having to purchase a Driver meaning that Fore Golf have to be admired as In my opinion (you come first - not your money).My last point is this when your thinking about getting custom fitted think about these facts 1-fore-golf are the only fitters certified outside of America for the big brands in golf AND they have also won CLUB-MAKER of the year for the WHOLE WORLD what an achievement for a family run company from Ireland its the stuff of dreams . 2- Fore- golf actually have no golf clubs for sale off the shop floor as they are Not a golf -shop meaning that every club you receive from them has actually be properly custom fitted to you and only you. Just want to share my great experience of a great club fitting @ Foregolf in January . Being an 11 HC'r playing with off the shelf clubs, & having never been fitted for golf clubs before, I was really looking fwd to it . Driving in the gates to Killeen Castle was very cool and the whole complex is top drawer & oozes class.On arrival @ Foregolf HQ, I was warmely greeted by Arron, Don also came out for a chat and explained their club building process which was very interseting. After a great mug of coffee, the guys gave me a bucket of complimentary golfballs to warm up in the driving bays next door which was great as id travelled up from Cork that morning !Then it was down to the good stuff, into the club room for the fitting with David, which was like a golfers version of walking into Willie Wonkas chocolate factory !! its an awesome room and gives you a taste of what a tour pro would experience with a picture perfect range in front of to greet your well hit golf shots!! David definitely has one of the nicest workspaces there is!! Was very impressed with all the checks David carried out on my own clubs and confirmed yardages etc before we started hitting the new gear...we worked our way through testing different irons, hybrids, woods, driver & wedges and the results from the shaft & head combo's David recommended was very impressive.Two things that seriously impressed me during the fitting, along with the great spin, distance & dispersion numbers I was getting was1) no club brand was pushed on me and was great that my existing hybrid & 3/5 woods were as good as anything that we tested and therefore David recommended they stay in my bag !2) I never felt rushed as I was conscious we had a time window with other guys waiting to be fitted etc, and David was super patient as it took a while to find the right Driver Head / Shaft Combo.! you can tell he has worked with the best on tour , the guy knows his stuff for sure !After placing my order , the new weapons arrived bang on schedule and they looked mega & are going as well as they look!! I've had them in play now for nearly 3 months and the biggest difference is my accuracy has really improved along with a bit more distance which is never a bad thing! . I fired my best ever back 9 (level par) a few weeks ago and continue to get more confidence with every round I play knowing the clubs in my hands are custom built to me & my swing.I was also seriously impressed with after sales service as I had some queries on my irons lie angles etc and Derek came back quickly with really good info to help me understand how & why my clubs were built the way they were.Overall the whole experience I have had with Foregolf from start to finish has been top class and it surpassed my expectations.Quality golf clubs, from a quality company with customer service 2nd to none!After my experience , I have also recommended a few fellow golfers to Foregolf who have been up for fittings since and they were equally impressed . I cannot recommend highly enough to any golfer who has an ambition to improve , they should definitely consider custom fitting at Foregolf . Beyond excellent! My first experience at Foregolf was five years ago when they were in based in Naas. That day changed my outlook on golf. Derek and the team have helped me get my game to a stage I'd never previously could have hoped possible. Building better golfers is what they do, but it's the way they do it that's truly remarkable. To have that level of personal attention from time in the club room, to having clubs hand built with a level of skill and attention to detail that tour players enjoy, is just incredible. You just couldn't hope to meet a nicer group of people who deliver a standard of personal service that is way way beyond 5* Over five years I've returned many times to upgrade clubs, re griping and to ask for help. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Phoned late on a Friday asking for advice on a pitching wedge that i'd worn out, no problem- even though it's an old model- phone calls made to Titleist and a week later a new hand built club was delivered. Every time I walk through the door to seek advice from these wonderful people, I still have the same feeling I got 5 years ago- they want to make me a better golfer. Foregolf have won European and world club making awards for good reason, they are the best in the business. I can't thank them enough for everything that they done for me in the the last 5 years, my only regret is I didn't discover them sooner. What to be a better golfer? look no further, you'll have so much fun along the way.

The visit to fore golf was a first class experience. You get a real sense of knowledge, competence and quality. There is no sales push just a desire to make you better. What I got mostly was the removal of doubt. Once you know the clubs are for you then you don't worry about the club, just on making your shot and knowing it's up to you alone. Got a full bag off fore sticks now, Callaway irons and driver, vokey wedges and a taylormade 3 wood, in my first season lost a full 4 shots and now off 4, have so much more confidence standing over the ball, the biggest thing for me is how much better the flight is on all my shots, I also feel that even my bad sots are not as bad! and everything is much straighter...all in all a great experience form day one with foregolf. Current bag is in tatters so they could do with a new home!

To anyone serious about their golf, I cannot recommend ForeGolf enough. The attention to detail and service is exceptional. Furthermore the whole team is so nice and friendly.The difference my clubs have made to my golf this summer was incredible. I've never been so consistent and also so confident.I've been 'custom fit' before at demo days with launch monitors and to anyone that thinks that's custom fitting, you have got to head to foregolf to see the difference. It turned out my 'custom fit' driver was completely wrong for me, so they fitted me with a new shaft and it's worked wonders.I'll be only getting custom fit clubs from now on. No way would I buy off the shelf now I have experienced the difference. No matter what your handicap, no matter what your ability, head to foregolf and you won't be disappointed.

My first visit to Foregolf was when they were based just outside of Naas. That's many, many moons ago, well 13 or 14 years anyway. I had taken up golf the previous year, I was a late starter at 21 or so. I went to the fitting and bought a set of McGregor irons. My mistake at that time was not getting the full set fitted, anyway that year my handicap tumbled from 17 to 12. To cut a long story short and it is a long story, I have since changed my clubs twice. I went to Derek and the lads every four or five years. Last year was my first time to see the set up in Killeen Castle and what a set it it is. I was fitted by David, a thorough Gent just like the rest of the lads. We decided on a set of Mizuno MP-4s, Mizuno MP-T4 wedges and Taylor Made Driver, 3-Wood and 5-Wood. I now play off a handicap of 5. 'If everyone went into a shop and bought a suit off the shelf, how many of those would the suit fit?' They were the words that Derek said to me on my first visit. How true that statement is. Having fitted clubs changed my game completely. Thanks to Derek and the lads in Foregolf, best of luck into the future and keep up good work. #averyhappycustomer

Just wanted to share my experience at Fore Golf. Went up last year and got fitted for new Driver & Irons it was the best decision I ever made. When I arrived I was greeted by David Williams who sat me down and went through everything I would be doing that day & introduced me to the club fitters Don & Aaron, from there I went into the fitting room where all the magic happens. David spent time with me during my fitting explaining different shafts, heads & showing me on the screen what my ball flight was doing also club at impact and anything else I wanted to know. The whole process made me feel like a pro getting fitted. I have played many rounds in the short time I have my clubs and have got my handicap down. I would highly recommend Fore Golf to anyone who is serious about getting the best out of their game & it is true what they say " Fore Golf building better golfers ". What can i say about foregolf that has not been said already , the welcome is like walking into a 5 star hotel,the service is better than a 5 star hotel , the workshop is mind blowing , Don and Aaron are masters at work i would stay and watch them all day , then the club room is like a candy shop for kids , thats when the fun begins. I have had my old clubs for over 10 years, and loved them, but knew I needed to change clubs, but didn't know what clubs to move to. I had been talking with other club fitters, but everyone has their own agenda, trying to sell what they represent, so by the time I visited Fore Golf I was apprehensive and unsure of what to expect and who to trust.Firstly, a lovely meet and greet. I had driven over 90 miles to see Fore Golf. A pleasure to meet with and talk to Don, Aaron and then David. David didn't try and sell me anything. He understood I had a "feel" for what I thought worked for me. After a while the experimentation started, no hard sell. I finished up buying Callaway irons - definitely would not of been my first choice, but the results spoke for themselves. Now a club longer, higher more penetrating trajectory. Don & Aaron then did the rest, suffice to say my old clubs are now gone.Been back to see Fore a couple of times since, now replaced my driver & 3 wood. Very impressed, recommend to all. Plan to take my son down once he stops growing to get properly fittedMy handicap is 9

Went to Foregolf 29Jan15 (yesterday). Have to say I was bowled over from start to finish. Great welcome, good chat with Don the clubmaker and his assistant Aaron before I went out and had a good luck at the workshop which was like all the tour buses rolled into one. Anyway on with the fitting, it couldn’t have worked out better. I never liked the clunky clubs although my handicap of 17 would suggest I should be using them so I was delighted to hear David telling me that the forgiving clubs generally encourage high ball flight and often a draw. My miss is a high hook so in many way they are the last thing I need. We whittled down the list of shafts, lies, grips etc. Some brief stats – Current 6 iron - 154 yards, club head speed of 85 MPH and grouping was 4399 yards (area of coverage). Custom 6 iron – 182 yards, club head speed of 86.1 MPH and grouping was 421 yards… Some difference. My fitting was Mizuno JPX forged 4-PW a gap wedge, irons ¾ inch longer than standard – grips (gel Lamkin) made slightly wider + shaft KBS C-Taper Stiff – now try and get that in the local superstore!David recommended not changing my driver as the improvements were only very marginal. I was delighted with that as I knew my driver was the best club in my bag. Reassurance that nothing was being pushed on me.So bring on the start of the season and hopefully I will post back stating my handicap is lower than 17 come the end of the year.Cannot recommend the place more – worth every penny and surprisingly only marginally more than the superstores. I've experienced a few different types of fittings over the years but nothing matches the time and the detail given to me at Foregolf.On my arrival I was welcomed by Chistine & Don who gave me a little history of their business, gave me a bucket of balls to allow a warm up on the adjoining range facility followed by a cuppa and biscuits to calm my nerves.Then I was introduced to Dave in the fitting room, this was a valued experience, after hitting my own irons for a while, he gave me a number of different clubs / shafts until we arrived at the irons the gave me a ball flight that suits my swing setup.I was given all the time I needed with no pressure to purchase any particular brand of club.I have decided to purchase " Callaway Apex 19" irons ( 5 -PW) and can't wait to collect the new rods at the end of August.Many thanks, Christine Don & Dave for a most informative and enjoyable experience.& Dave for a most enjoyable experience.

Had a great time down at Foregolf. It was my 2nd time visiting the guys. I had been down to their tour truck around 10 years ago and decided to go back to make sure everything still fit to my game. Best part about the session with Dave, for me, was that he didn’t try push me to buy clubs. There were areas of my bag that needed updating but other areas that were fine for the moment and Dave explained which areas were priority and which he would recommend I get 1st. My new bats arrived the other day and I can’t wait to get out on the course. I’m sure I’ll be back soon for the irons to complete the set.

I am a 7hcp and had never been to Fore before.What an experience it was - I've been through a fitting for woods with McGuirks previously but this was on another level.Lovely welcome chat with Don when I arrived followed by a cup of tea and a few balls to go and hit to warm up in my own time for 15 mins or so.Once the fitting began Dave had me hit a few shots with my old irons - after about 10 minutes of assessing my swing and ball flight alongside the Trackman data we both new what improvements I was looking for (reduce spin to bring my ball flight down). Dave spent the guts of the next hour going through every little detail to achieve this , combining dozens of different shaft / head combinations in varying lengths and setups etc until we found a shaft & head combo that was consistently bringing my spin down from 7000rpm to 5000rpm without changing a single thing about my swing. From start to finish the entire experience was a pleasure ( even after embarrasingly shanking the first 10 or so balls I hit! ) andTotal price for my new set of irons custom fit for me was only €250 more than the same set off the rack in the McGuirks/Halpenny, with no customisation etc - money well spent in my opinion.I cannot recommend Foregolf enough.From the people running it to the experience itself -What an Absolute Pleasure!

Absolutely loved this experience. Was well worth it. Added 30 yards to my irons by ensuring I had the right club in my hand depending on its weight and length to suit my swing. Was like a mini private lesson as I was also given tips to take away and work one. The guys were also very supportive in telling me the best way to get my clubs abroad. Thanks to everyone involved!!

Fantastic experience as usual! The knowledge and experience shines through the whole ForeGolf experience. Really enjoyed the wedge fitting.. Feedback, discussions and interaction was super.. The detail that really blew me away was that when David figured out which club suited me best that then he drilled down to the detail of whether a chrome or gun metal finish was better for me. I was amazed to find out that I hit the 'black' faced club better than the chrome faced club when all the other specs were exactly the same! Unreal!

My 2nd fitting in 10 years. Each time I came away excited about my fitting and like a kid at Christmas I can’t wait for my clubs to arrive. I went to fore golf to have a look at a total over haul of my bag. Started with the irons and after teasing out various heads and shafts it was my own irons that suited me best. We then looked at the rescue and again what I had we could not improve on. Then my real problem clubs 3 wood and driver. Tried a few different 3 woods and it looked like it was me that was the problem until a few tweaks and then I hit this club like never before. Similar experience with the driver. The more I hit various drivers again I thought it was not going to happen. And again a few tweaks, different loft and shaft and then boom, sorted. Increased by 40 yards with driver and 30 + with 3 wood. Great experience again, especially when you leave with what you hoped for. Henry Costello

Brilliant experience I arrived having booked myself in to get a full set of clubs. On arrival I was given a bucket of ball to go and warm up on the range. When I came back was given a coffee while waiting for my fitting. Don came out to speak to me and tell me exactly what goes on there and that there main goal was not to sell me clubs to make me a better golfer. On hearing this I was a small bit sceptical. But low and behold he was right I had my fitting with David who I think made me hit every head and shaft combination they had. At the end of it he told me to keep my 3 wood, hybrids and wedges telling me that they were doing the job for me. The whole experience was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I will report back later to tell you how much my handicap has come down.....😁

Hugely impressed with everything in Foregolf from start to finish. The customer service in getting me a quicker than normal appointment, the professionalism of the whole place and most importantly the final results. I was given an overview of how everything worked from Don. In the testing/fitting, Dave was attentive and knowledgable. The equipment and set up is absolutely fantastic. Ended up getting Mizuno 919 irons and Taylormade M6 woods. The impact is staggering. I fully believe I’m now playing with the best clubs to suit my game. I’d highly recommend a visit. You won’t be disappointed. Simply top class.

What a great experience. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed and thanked for visiting. Before the 'fitting' everyone was friendly and welcoming and made it feel like a really special experience.The fitting itself was great fun. Everything that was done was explained to me throughout the process. We tried lots of options and I was even told that I should keep one club that did not need to be changed. At the end of the session, a report was generated and explained to me regarding what I needed. There was no pressure to purchase but I did. A firm delivery date was given and I am not excitedly looking forward to the arrival of my new clubs . A very enjoyable couple of hours in a beautiful setting

Another very enjoyable experience, my third. Original driver still good, rescues re-shafted for me and now new Mizuno JPZ-900 irons with KBS shafts. Very happy. Recommend to anyone changing their clubs. Small selection of shafts zoomed in on and tried Titleist, Taylor made to be sure but fully satisfied with selection David and I arrived at.

Really enjoyed my recent club fitting session in ForeGolf. It was great fun to try different head and shaft combinations (to try to find something that worked with my swing!). The advance in technology since I got my last set (also from ForeGolf) is amazing to experience.There continues to be a warm and friendly atmosphere in the place, tied to a wealth of knowledge and experience. I would highly recommend Foregolf to anyone who is interested in the game of golf at all! It’s a great experience and it’s easy to tell that you are in good hands as soon as you arrive. The fitting lesson is thorough and enjoyable and you get a clear sense that they are searching for the perfect club for you regardless of the brand name. For me, nothing beats seeing the real ball flight rather than a simulator that you’ll find at most other fitting companies and I left with full confidence that I have the perfect set for me. I will add an additional review once I have my set, have played with them and see how they improve (hopefully) my game. Thanks to all at Foregolf for a great experience!

A really great experience. From the moment you arrive in there it is a friendly welcome from “Dad” Don who works in the workshop, expertly making the clubs. Went to warm up in the driving range and then enjoyed a cappuccino before starting the fitting. To say these guys know their stuff is an understatement ! Utilising Trackman, player feedback and just good old fashioned experience, we honed into the perfect club for me. It was so impressive how the fitting process worked so efficiently. Shaft weight, kick point, torque stiffness, dynamic loft, ball speed ......... basically these guys leave nothing to chance. They take it as a matter of personal and professional pride to ensure you walk out of there with the best fitting clubs available. Really enjoyed the session. What an absolute pleasure it was to visit the ForeGolf centre. Firstly they are very welcoming when you enter the centre. I was given a bucket of balls to go and warm up before my fitting, and coffee once I finished. The fitting itself was unbelievable. I was there for a driver fitting. I was brought through everything step by step, my swing was analysed on the computer using my own driver, and then the fun starts! I tried countless amounts of different drivers with different shafts until we had the right shaft and driver head for me. By the end of it I was hitting a beautiful long, high draw and all from the correct fitting from guys that know what they are doing. They have absolutely every make of driver head and shaft available. I would definitely recommend a ForeGolf fitting for everybody. There is no substitute for class and you really cant beat a proper custom fit against an 'off the shelf' purchase. Thanks a million folks. I'll definitely be back to yous again.

I can’t recommend the team at ForeGolf highly enough - from the warm welcome on arrival, and an overview of what the whole process would entail, to the fitting experience itself. It’s clear that everyone there loves what they do, and is highly engaged in a delivering a great customer experience - which they did.I was fitted by Dave, who took a look at how I was hitting my current clubs before taking me through a wide range of potential shaft/head options for both my irons and my woods - he gradually homed in on the combinations that were demonstrably giving me the tightest dispersion of results, all the time explaining why certain combinations were more suited than others to my individual swing. Dave’s engagement in the whole process was complete, and I felt throughout that I was getting individually tailored advice based on how I was hitting the ball and how I described the flaws in my game.I eagerly await the new set I’ve ordered, and the benefits it will bring. Although apparently it won’t remove the need to practice, which is a shame...

Fantastic professional service with a real down to earth family touch. On arrival, Don welcomed me and ran through his work process while I waited for my fitting. In the fitting, Dave he knew exactly what would suit me from the initial discussion about my irons. I cannot rate ForeGolf highly enough. It was an unforgettable night experience. Don was great as he explained how he made the clubs and so on and Derek fitted me and he had so much knowledge about clubs and whenever he made me switch club or shaft he told me why. Another great thing is although I bought a driver they didn’t push me to purchase irons as he believed I had a few more months left in mine so they aren’t just trying to sell me a club they are doing what’s best for me. It is an absolute ‘must do’ if you wish to improve your golf.The welcome is warm, the team friendly, and the experience very rewarding.Undoubtedly, being fitted by a professional who has worked with tour pros, is a short-cut to a better game.I was struck by the attention to detail my fitter paid, and in my hitting somewhere between 100 and 150 balls in front of a ‘Trackman, system, he was able to quickly identify, and then fine-tune, clubs which gave me greater length and accuracy. How do I know? Because it was done back-to-back against my present clubs, and the trace analysis revealed all.The fact that Foregolf are not tied to any one brand ensures unbiased advice.Can’t wait for my new clubs to arrive !!For all golfers looking to get the right equipment, this is a ‘must do’.Happy golfing to all;Richard.

Had a custom fit for a Driver & 3 wood last Friday 7th June. Having being there in 2014 for a total bag fit except for these 2 as they were good at the time. Good to see the place hasn't changed as it really is a top class place. Had a good chat with Derek about a lad we knew having never met Derek before it really is a family affair. And a great fit with Dave who's knowledge is second to none... Highly recommended Foregolf They really are the best in the business. If your into golf look no further trust me.. I'm like a big kid now waiting on my new clubs to arrive in! :)

My visit to ForeGolf was an unforgettable event. Very professional and personable. Upon entering their office, everyone came and introduced themselves, offering refreshments and explaining what the session would entail. As they have all the major brands, the focus was finding what club head and shaft best fit my swing. I hit over 1oo balls with another club after several shots. I feel their approach is first class and focused on me rather than trying to "sell" me on a type of club. In my book, a five star session. I'd recommend it to anyone trying to improve their score.

Yesterday I took the plunge and booked a one club fitting with Foregolf, I happened to find an afternoon cancellation online which was ideal. Had a Cuppa in reception before I was called into the fitting bay by David, Dave asked me to hit a few balls to loosen up. My goal was a new driver but unsure which one. After I hit 10 balls with my own I was given a selection of heads and shafts to test with David running through the stats and explaining the finer details. Just been back to visit Foregolf for a new driver and 3 wood to go with the irons I got in 2017 and the putter I got in 2018 which are still playing as good as the day I got them. Wonderful experience from start to finish. Upon arrival i was given some balls to hit on the range and warm up for my session. After i finished on the range i went back into Foregolf where i was greeted by Derek and Don to discuss the whole process over a coffee. Then i was in with Dave for the club fitting. The attention to detail in the club fitting is second to none. I started out by hitting shots with my own clubs. Then the real testing begins where I tested various different club heads, Shaft weights, Shaft flex, Shaft types until we found the right clubs for me. I was amazed to see such a difference in my shots as the testing progressed. I went over the allotted time by about 30 mins, which showed me that they won't stop until they had found the right clubs for me. Excellent service throughout. I have already begun recommending them to family and friends.

I've known the team at ForeGolf for a number of years now and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I first came across them when my father got a set of clubs built perhaps 15 years ago and Ive been hooked ever since. He played off 8 in his younger days but as age took it's toll, his handicap pushed out to 20. His short game was incredible but he'd lost the consistency and strength to get the distance he needed from his irons and tee shots..... well at least he thought he did. With some work from Derek and the team he got a new set of irons which allowed a lot more for his physical changes and were far more forgiving with his swing. Consistency was back with a small increase in distance at the same time dropping the handicap once more. I visited back in 2015 after years of not being able to play to my potential and the changes in my game are astounding. I have consistently improved ever since and feel comfortable knowing that I have the right tools for the job, that are forgiving to the nuances in my swing etc. From a handicap of 10 in my juvenile days I struggled to play of 20 by the time I got to my 30s. I'm glad to say now that pretty much solely due to getting the right tools built for the job, I'm getting closer and closer to that handicap every year.I can't stop recommending ForeGolf and I have had a number of friends and family visit over the years. Not only do they make better golfers, the experience along the way is absolutely brilliant. I don't think I need more clubs but to be honest I will probably book a club check this year, just to spend some time with Dave, Derek and the team for an hour! It's great fun for golf nerds!

Visited ForeGolf for the first time yesterday. Wish I went sooner - it was friendly, informative and enjoyable. Dave explained every change and the results were obvious to the eye, even before looking at the trackman numbers. Also, he did not try to "sell" anything and even said he could not offer a better suited 3-wood than my old R11. Can't wait to try my new clubs! Thanks again - will recommend to anyone thinking of changing clubs. Skip the shops - they don't custom fit, these guys do!

My fitting at ForeGolf was an amazing experience. David Williams was excellent, he gave me a great understanding as to the importance of shaft selection and built the set of clubs around my swing and technique. My clubs (Mizuno 919 Forged)arrived quite quickly after the fitting and they have already helped me reduce my handicap. If you really want to improve as a golfer, lose the ego and get fitted with ForeGolf, they are the experts at what they do. A 5 star service.

I was lucky enough to receive a voucher for a fitting with Fore Golf as a Xmas present. I only got around to using the voucher a couple of weeks ago. All i can say is it was an absolutely brilliant experience. The service is great, as are the facilities. I was fitted by Dave, a very interesting individual with a vast amount of experience / knowledge. Every time Dave made a change to the club he gave a detailed explanation as to why he was doing it and what he was looking for. I had a nice little chat with Don / Christine afterwards. All the staff are very friendly.I would 100% recommend anyone give this a go. You will not be disappointed. A wonderful experience for golfers of all abilities. After warming up and hitting some range balls its into the fitting session with Dave. You hit 7 to 10 balls with your 7 iron and then the fun begins. Dave starts building clubs based on the Trackman data displayed after each shot you hit. With all the possible combinations and permutations he whittles it down to the best performing clubs for you. With each change of shaft or head he's telling you what he is trying to achieve. By the end of the session I had selected new irons that gave a tighter dispersion with greater distance. In the case of my 3 wood Dave said that his best offering was only getting me 6 to 8 yards more distance and therefore he wouldn't recommend a change. Different story with the driver where he was getting an average of over 20 yards more distance with the Callaway Epic Flash. I cant recommend the team at ForeGolf highly enough. Make sure you get Dave to tell you about his match with Sergio........

This place is first in class, no doubt in my mind. Other “pros” that custom fit are no where near the level these guys are at. Firstly, the customer service is unreal, every person working in the workshop, reception, the custom fitter (sorry ive forgotten their names!) they all speak to you and make you feel welcome. The fitting was a sheer joy, in the past i feel like pros come at you with numbers. With this fitting it was all about the ball flight, the accuracy and added yardafe. Simple as that. They had no other agenda only to improve my game, no affiliation with any brand, just whatever works. Cannot wait to put all my clubs to use and shoot lower scores 👍

I have been playing golf for over 20 years, and like most, I was aware of the professional trade but blind indifference always refrained me from seeking guidance!! Getting fitted was always at the back of my mind but I felt it was an unnecessary cost. I was WRONG! I spent an hour there last week, so informative, helpful and hopefully game changing. Great team on site, they have seen it all and really know how to maximise your individual swing (even if its 20 years old). Stop thinking about it and just go.

A great welcome from the moment you arrive. Dave did my fitting and explained each change he made and what we were trying to achieve in easy to understand language. I can't believe the 30 yard gain on trackman with 7 iron. But the figures don't lie. My biggest regret is that it has taken me so long to be fitted by the experts. I can't wait for the new season to start and see the results. Thank you foregolf you make this game so easy for us mere mortals.

I’m an avid golfer and as everyone who loves the game knows if you can’t putt you can’t score. Putting has always been the weakest part of me game and for too long I was trying to get by with a putter that was the wrong size and didn’t suit my stroke. I decided to give foregolf a go. Within 20 mins, Dave had worked out what I needed and of the last 25 putts I attempted I only missed one. I can’t wait for my putter to come so I can get it out on the course!! Facilities and staff are fantastic and there was no hard sale after my fitting which I loved. If you want to improve you need to visit these guys!!

I was fitted for irons in Foregolf a few years ago and they helped me reduce my handicap . In May 2019 I attended to be fitted for a driver and have ordered one with Foregolf. On both occasions Dave was superb- on the last occasion he readily identified my negative angle of attack ( which creates difficulty for me getting any great height and therefore distance on drives ) and with a simple adjustment to a club head I was quickly getting impressive height and total carry was much longer than usual. The overall experience at Foregolf from booking, to the firing and post fitting service is first class . Given the prices we tend to pay for clubs it’s well worth the money to have a fitting at Foregolf so your clubs suit your swing . You won’t regret it - Foregolf provide clubs to suit you and don’t try to get you to suit their clubs. I can’t wait to collect my new driver when I get back from vacation🏌🏾⛳️

I recently had a full bag fit and it exceeded my expectations. Arrived to a warm welcome from both Derek and Don before hitting a few warm up balls on the range. The custom fitting itself was with Dave who was great. Started out hitting shots with my own irons before trying some different brands and shaft options. I was amazed to see such an immediate improvement in my dispersion and consistency via the trackman data. If it didn’t make sense to change one of my current clubs then Dave was clear about this and I definitely appreciated his honesty. By tweaking a few things with the driver we managed to decrease spin numbers singificantly which I was delighted with. Overall a great service and would highly recommend.

I cannot recommend FOREGOLF enough. Like most people who take up Golf I fell into the magpie syndrome, if it was shiny I'd buy it and hit it without ever getting custom fit. The result being, a shed full of clubs hit a few times and a very confused golfer, wondering what to buy and hit next. I had my fitting with David who was brilliant and really explained what we were looking to achieve ,when you see the numbers in front of you change and your ball flight change you'll wonder why it took you so long to go down this route. Christine was very welcoming and helpful. Don came out and introduced himself and done an excellent job on my clubs. I needed a total change from what I was using and am more than happy with the results having picked up my clubs. Well done all, I can't blame the arrows now, only the Indian firing them! Will be back for a putter fitting soon.

ForeGolf is an amazing experience. This is a family business that is run very professionally but with a personal touch. This starts with the very warm welcome from Mum, Christine. Then if you are fortunate you might have a chat with Dad, Don who builds the clubs.My fitting was with son, Dave, who put me at ease immediately. The fitting process is very thorough and efficient. The great thing is that at ForeGolf they are not tryng to push a particular brand of club they are just tryng to find the club that best suits you. Furthermore, I was there for a full fitting and when it came to the Driver and Hybrids the improvement was minimal so Dave recommended no change.I would highly recommend Foregolf to anyone that is about to change clubs.

Excellent and Enjoyable experience at my fitting with ForeGolf.Huge Knowledge of the golf swing and of course the equipment needed to get the best out of me.The entire team are very welcoming and put me at ease straight away.The testing was brilliant i got to hit all the latest heads/shafts/lies/lofts against my current clubs on trackman, which was great to have a base of whether it was really worth while changing or not.I learned alot about my swing in there as well and felt it was nearly like a lesson which was great.As it turned out i was advised by the fitter that there was no benifit in changing my irons but there was significant benefit in a new driver and 3 wood. To be fair at no point did i feel obligated to purchase them....... but i could not leave them behind, absolutely delighted with the purchases and am hitting both very well.I would advise anyone who enjoys their golf to go get custom fitted and get playing in the correct equipment. It really was a great experience, i will be going to ForeGolf from now on for my equipment to get a expert and trusted opinion.

We traveled all the way from Denmark to visit Foregolf. I must say that Foregolf fulfilled our expectations. We were first warmly received by Cristine and Don. Then Dave spent a lot of time with us, with professional and friendly fitting. Surprisingly big difference as shaft etc. were replaced. We were only advised to buy what made sense. Thanks guys for a absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I entered ForeGolf I was made feel at home, with fresh coffee from Christine and a tour of the clubroom from Don. A big thanks to Dave who is an exceptional club fitter. I'm a fussy individual but his level of professionalism exceeds all standards. He checked everything from choosing the right head and shaft to the correct length, loft, lie angle and grip size as well as a few more little tweaks. He even stayed 20 mins over the time just to get it right. Thanks again Dave. If you enjoy the game of golf you have to visit these guys. Just do it!

Derek, David, Christine and all a long overdue note on the performance of the clubs. I got fitted initially in 2016 for the TaylorMade M1irons and driver and a Cobra F7 3 wood. Lots of reviews are usually on the fitting experience, which is great but for me also the on course performance of the clubs is crucial. Taking them into play a big comfort I find is knowing these work for me and the consistency in performance and levels of forgiveness while also allowing me to develop and improve with my swing is also crucial. Only in the last few months have I started to use the 3 wood off the deck and it is now giving me the ability to reach just short of some of our par 5’s in 2. Also, I’ve used it in the Qatar Masters pro-am and the caddy and pro both favourably commented upon it. I recently went back to ForeGolf with the intention of looking at a hybrid as the one I had I found myself not using it as much and instead relying on my 4 iron. David had a good long look at my swing and my shot is a draw but I tend to turn over the hybrid a bit and so he adjusted the weights in a Titleist H1 and in my matchplay on Saturday I used it on 18 to get me out of trouble and down towards the green for a pitch on to win by 1. The clubs are really outstanding and I’ve had some great assistance out here from the pros developing my game and I look forward to moving everything onto the next level. Keep up the good work and will keep an eye out for ForeGolf at the Masters!

Been a high handicapper (23) i was fairly nervous about going up to foregolf but i had absolutly no need to be, from christine when you walk in the door who gave me a bucket of balls for the range to offering me a cup of tea when i came back in, all very pleasent!! On to the fitting itself, it was brilliant, very enjoyable even for a hacker like meself!! Dave is so helpful an absolutely no rush my hour appointment was about 1hr 15, an i left with a real smile on my face, will definitely be back for a putting fitting, thanks again everyone in foregolf 🏌🏿‍♂️

I've just had my second trip to Foregolf. I won a full bag check voucher on their Instagram account over Xmas (turns out people do win those types of competitions!). So having been delighted with my putter fitting in 2018 I was excited to get back to look at the rest of my bag. Arrived in and had a good chat with Derek & Dave over a cup of coffee on a cold day. Talked through my existing clubs, where I was at with my game and what I had in my head. Started with the irons, Dave was constantly looking at the Trackman data and handing me new heads while changing in & out different shafts before getting to the best fit for me. Worked through the Fairway woods, hit a couple of Wedges and back to the Driver before hitting a last few irons to make sure we were onto a winner. Couple of things I really noted on the day. I had a 3 wood in my bag along with a low hybrid, Dave spotted something I never would have thought of and recommended moving to a 5 wood and taking both of the others out of the bag. That really stood out for me as it potentially lost them money in that I would only be buying 1 club over 2 but it was really putting the customer first. Secondly was that Dave printed out the sheet of the recommended clubs for me and rather than saying you need this, this & this he talked through prioritisation and what would deliver the biggest benefits quickly. There was no pressure to buy everything (or even anything) and I respected that.I can't recommend the guys enough. Book yourself in, arrive with an open mind in terms of brands, check your ego at the door and hit whatever clubs are given to you because they know what are doing and won't steer you wrong. Really looking forward to collecting the clubs I did buy and when the time comes to look at something else, I won't be going anywhere else.

Wednesday 6th March 2019 I arrive at Foregolf custom at Killeen Castle for my full bag custom fit and putter fit.I was met by Dom who after a few pleasantries he hands me a small bucket balls to warm up with on the driving range.When I return I'm offered a cup of tea or coffee while I'm waiting on my appointed time. At 10.45 Dave takes me into the fitting bay and we start the fit by hitting my 7 iron about 10 times .Dave decides that I need some distance built into my game.First he gives me M6 iron to try and straight away more distance off my shot ,then the different clubs start arriving some giving more distance some not,then different shafts in different clubs .We settled on Mizuno hot metal pro with graphite shafts.He then handed me my 4 hybrid which i hit and then different hybrids start arrive for me to hit .Dave comes to the conclusion that there is not enough difference between my hybrid and the others so no need to change it. Next we try my driver and the process begins again,after trying 5 new drivers and shafts Dave said he wouldn't sell me a new driver as the difference in length was only 1 meter. Next my 3 metal which I explained to Dave that I hit well off the tee but found it hard to get any height with it off the ground.Dave went to work and after trying a few different 3 metals he gave me a Cobra M9 3/4 metal and the fun began ,striking it off the ground I was getting straight shots with length and at least 70 feet in height . On to the putter fitting and a similar process starts again,first with my putter and then with different putters before I settled on a Odyssey putter. Session finished Dave realised that we got through it all in 1 hour so he didn't charge me for the putter fitting and also he gave my 3 wedges for the price of 2. A great experience and well worth the money now I just have to wait for Dom to make the clubs . Willie King

Great experience! If I could add more stars to the review I would! I have been looking to get custom fit for a set of irons for a very long time, done numerous searches to see the best place to go and came across ForeGolf. Looked them up on YouTube and scanned the reviews to see what to expect. Expextations were set very high from what I read/watched.Upon arrival I was met my Derek, had a good chat and was given a bucket of balls to warm up on the range before the fitting even offered snacks and coffee 😄The fitting was with David and immediately he was able to pin point what was wrong with my irons and explained why I was so inconsistent in distance. I was able to try out loads of different iron heads from forged to blades across all the top brands. Once I found a head I liked the feel of we were able to try a ton of shafts to fine tune the club's preformace to best suit my game. Even on off centre hits (my fault haha) the irons were still preforming better than i could have hoped for.As a bonus, David was even able to help me with a gap in my bag where I usually struggle (3iron or hybrid) and fill me with confidence with the final fitted club to help my game even more.I must say the time spent at ForeGolf was so much fun!! The guys really know their stuff, give them a look on YouTube, their workshop amazing and service is top end. I felt like I was treated like a tour pro! Thanks a mill lads! Expectations were exceeded my miles!!

This is the easiest review I’ve made. I love golf. It’s good for my mental health, my confidence and it’s great for exercise. So I want the best of the best when choosing my equipment. I want to be 100% sure I’m getting the best clubs for me. That’s why I go to ForeGolf for all my fittings. If I broke my leg I wouldn’t accept a second rate surgeon. If I had dental issues I wouldn’t accept a second rate dentist. I want the best. That why I go to ForeGolf. I don’t want to worry whether I’ve got the wrong shaft when I’m 5 holes in and I’ve just hooked a drive OB, I’ve other things to concern me. FG take that worry away. It’s really that simple. I have a tested IQ of 142 and I’m the most fastidious person you will meet. I am not wrong. Go to ForeGolf if you need help getting better. PS I have no affiliation whatsoever to this company. I cannot recommend Foregolf enough. If you're serious about your golf, no matter what level, then getting custom fit is a must. However being custom fit by the best is essential. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a wonderful friendly and family environment, and to get you excited for what's to come you're given a glimpse behind the scenes in Don's workshop. It's like being a kid in a sweet shop. Every manufacturer, shaft type, heads, grips etc - they have it all. I was first fit for a full set of clubs 5 years ago in Foregolf, and the experience was incredible. The confidence you get from knowing your entire set is suited perfectly to your swing, is amazing. I have since returned a few times for a driver fitting, and even a putter fitting. I returned a couple of weeks ago, to get a new set of irons. As always, Dave was extremely knowledgeable and helped me select the best irons for me. He's very welcoming, friendly and really knows his stuff. The fact that it's suited in a range (with trackman), and you can see the ball flight for yourself is a huge advantage over a simulator in a store, where you rely solely on numbers for feedback.Furthermore, there's never a pressure to buy anything. They will make sure you have the optimal clubs, and will compare it to your own. It's entirely your decision at the end of the day. Fantastic service. Highly skilled, super friendly. Would highly recommend.

As a golfing experience my Foregolf fitting was amazing, from the moment I drove on to the grounds of Kleen Castel to bidding the Murray family fair well after my session it was a 5 star experience. The fitting session with Dave was amazing and as a learning experience it was so worth while, but because clubs these days are so expensive knowing the clubs I bought are made for me and and custom to me gives me a peace of mind. Went to foregolf just under 2 weeks ago for a fitting.Dave Williams did the fitting .A nicer gentleman you couldn't meet.His manner and knowledge were fantastic.I learned things about my swing that I had no idea about before.No clubs or brands were forced upon me .I picked up my new irons and 3 wood today and went straight to range.Im delighted with the results . my only regret is not doing this years ago.thank you Foregolf. Had the full bag check yesterday at Foregolf and was blown away by the level of detail involved. The fitting with Dave was really enjoyable, every change of club head and shaft and how it might affect the ball fight was explained and how it might improve my game. The focus really is on improving you as a player, there’s no question of selling you anything that won’t improve the clubs you have already. My current irons and Driver were performing fine so there was no need to update there so I left with a new 3 wood and a new hybrid. Would highly recommend Foregolf, received a great welcome from Christine and Don explained the club building process after I arrived too, it was well worth the trip!

Absolute brilliant experience. 1st class service from the minute I walked into foregolf till when I left. I must recommend any keen golfer to do a fitting just for the experience of how technology can address the faults in your swing. There is no pressure to buy following the fitting but to be honest the prices are similar to the main golf stores in Ireland so it really is a no brainer.I've already recommend foregolf to my family and friends and I was only there yesterday. Can't wait to get my new set in a few weeks (although I will now have nothing to blame other than me when I have a bad shot)Thanks for everythingLiam

My second visit to foregolf,as soon as one arrives the welcome is genuine. Dave with all his fantastic knowledge changed my preconceived notions of the driver I thought i wanted and would have bought of the shelf without a proper fitting, turns out it would have been a disaster for my game 😥. My big miss was rectified with a few different combinations and tweeks until I was 100% convinced I couldnt hit this much better ...I'm so glad I didn't listen to myself and went and asked the experts, looking forward to getting out on th course this year Thanks foregolf .

Visited ForeGolf yesterday with my non-performing driver. Made very welcome on arrival, given a basket of balls to use as a warm up before we got into the business end of my visit. I was ideally looking to get my current driver re-set to suit my swing and stance etc and get it hitting fairways. As soon as the first small adjustment was made I could see the difference and as we continued with more small adjustments it was obvious that we were going in the right direction. Hi Derek / Dave, I hope all is well with you both. I realise this review is a little later than expected but I wanted to put my new Callaway Rogue Sub Zero driver to work before my review. I left a review at the start of the summer last year after my first fitting session in Foregolf but really feel it is important to try get message across again because it has totally changed my view on the game and gave me the tools to improve. From the first second you land in foregolf your made feel welcome and comfortable. I will not lie, I was a little little nervous and I didn’t know what to expect. My biggest fear was to be smothered by information that I didn’t understand along with the fear of being forced or bullied into buying clubs on the day. I really could not of been more surprised by the experience, the overwhelming pride each member of Foregolf has for what the company stands for and what they are trying to achieve. It is a state of the art facility that is family run, everyone involved values your experience and it’s obvious they want you to walk away with a positive one. Dave took his time with me, I never felt rushed, explained everything to me in a simple way that even I could understand. Not only did I come away from my first visit with a new set of M4 irons but also a wider understanding of my game and a understanding of what actual happens the golf ball during impact and flight. Naturally I was always going to come back ! My second visit in late November last year for a new driver. I was open to any make or model once it improved my distance and flight. I was using a Ping G20 driver before my session and eventough my driving would be a stronger part of my game, I was constantly struggling for distance. I found myself consistantly killing my drives but the ball wouldn’t not run for me. I never got my Ping driver fitted ! That was my mistake. I spent the best part of an hour with Dave (Only meant to be in for half an hour) hitting various drivers with different shafts, a little tweek here, a little tweak there and I found my new Toy. Dave took his time to explain why I was struggling for distance, ball spin too high and club head speed too low and gave me a new driver that reversed both aspects to suit my swing. I am now hitting my drives 25 -30 yards longer ! A huge difference for my game as it is the difference between me hitting a six iron or an eight iron into greens. I can now get the ball closer and try make more pars and birdies. I can honestly say that Foregolf has given me the tools to take my game to the next level. I started to see huge improvements in my game because now I was combing the right tools with plenty of practice. I started the summer of 2018 off 12 and I am now down to 8 and playing comfortably off this.I know I have the right clubs In my bag that fit me perfectly and for me, that is priceless !I would never go anywhere else for fitting, The latest technology, all the industry leading brands, highly trained staff and hospitality second to none I truly believe this is the best place in Ireland if not the world to get fitted for golf clubs. That’s how pationate I feel about it. If your serious about improving your game and getting your handicap down, make the right move and visit Derek and Dave in Foregolf. # The best putter fitting ever.Well, I have had a mini putter fitting before from a pro where they have looked at my stroke and told me what I needed based on what they have seen with the naked eye. But at fore Golf it was a different level with the use of trackman, Dave was able to tell me how I was rolling the ball how my putter face was working and from around the 50 or so putts and the questions asked I got some surprising results. So what was I got a lie angle of -4 degrees which will help square up my face grip type going to a slimmer profile and putter weight. All in all the best fitting I've ever had Tour level. Not to mention the friendly welcome you get on walking in the door with a nice latte to the free wifi in a comfortable environment. Great experience from great people.

THEE place if you are serious about your game. These guys fit on tour I think that says it all. And despite what people think the fittings here and the fitting in your local pro shop are not the same - they are so far apart is scary. Foregolf build your clubs. This is the BIG difference. Clubs churned out by the manufacturers are so far off with lie and loft it needs to be seen to be believed. I personally witnessed my wedges on the loft / lie machine in the workshop. They were a full club out. Anyway im going back again soon for another a1 fitting...

Foregolf has completely changed my game. 18 months ago I was playing off 16.7 and going backwards. I decided to pay Foregolf a visit as I heard that clubs off the shelf don't suit everybody but I was apprehensive as I thought custom built clubs would cost a fortune. During the 1 hour fitting with Derek, he didn't push anything at all and gave me both new and rebuild options. I chose to rebuild my set as the heads were relatively new and my game has since gone from strength to strength. I am now down to 11.7 and also broke 80 for the first time. Could not recommend Foregolf enough. Will definitely be returning.

Fitted here in 2008 with full set of clubs. Changed the r7 for the cobra f8 and great advice from dave about which head and shaft would be best. Gained 10-15 yards and more consistent. Best results though from putter. Half hour putting tracking and changed from tm sebring to an odyssey black o. On the course definately dropped 5 more putts per round and better roll. Looking forward to booking in for irons next and 3 wood. Keep up the good work. Anyone deciding whether or not to do this, 100 % worth it.

There's no better feeling than swinging with confidence with clubs built for you! Foregolf gives you exactly that! I've had my clubs since April after getting a full bag and putter fitting and have just finished playing the season of my life.When I went to Foregolf in April I was playing off 18. 6 rounds later I was 15.8 and by the end of this season I was playing off 14.2.When I walked through the door I was welcomed by Don who assured me I'd be hitting the ball on the course exactly the same as I was in the fitting centre. He wasn't lying either! It's a world class experience where no question goes unanswered and there's no hard sell at any point. If you want fitted by someone who cares about what they do, who will provide you with clubs built for you and won't try and push the latest most expensive equipment on you, then this is the place to go! It's a golfers paradise and you won't be made to feel more welcome, no matter where you go! Genuinely cannot rate or recommend them highly enough. Thanks again guys

I first went to ForeGolf in May '17 for a full bag check, and I can only echo the vast majority of comments here by saying it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The benefit of being able to try out various different club and shaft combinations was invaluable. Dave is a real expert, after every couple of balls I hit he made the necessary tweaks, and I ended up with woods and irons that have made a massive difference to my game. Every time he changed something I could see the improvement straight away. Up until the fitting, I just assumed I'd always have a low ball flight. With the clubs they recommended and built for me I now have a strong, high ball flight that has made a massive difference to my game. I finally got to single figures within a year of getting them, after being stuck on 10/11 for 4 years.If anyone is on the fence I couldn't recommend ForeGolf highly enough. The fact they build the clubs to such exacting standards really gives you the piece of mind you're making the right call. Simply put, you'll be a better golfer with the clubs fitted and built here.

6 months on from a fitting and custom building of a Callaway Epic Driver. ForeGolf is a truly family business. Lovely people, incredibly attentive, and have delivered the clubs on time every time. It's pretty unique to find a family business that is so professionally run while still having such a friendly vibe, It must be in the DNA.I started out looking for a new driver earlier in 2018. I just wasn't in the fairway enough with my current one, and thought the stiff shaft needed softening. I tried a few free club fitting sessions, got on well with a Ping and played several rounds with different shafts, but the stiff shaft lost distance and the regular shaft gave extra distance but could produce some incredibly erratic shots as well. I tried a Taylor made and just couldn't get on with either shaft. I was wandering around one of the big chains one day then and spotted something I liked the look of. One fitting fee later, I was no better off.So, off to ForeGolf then. I have a custom built set of irons from them (6 years old). I went for the 1 hour fitting session. While primarily looking for the driver, just also wanted them to have a look in the bag. They quickly ruled out any need to touch the irons - some tiny gains available, but no trying to sell me something I didn't need. We had a look at the hybrids I had (3 and 5). I sort of liked them (good distance and height), but there was always the risk of a high hook with them. We settled on a shaft and head to fix that, but I wasn't there to buy a hybrid, I was there for the driver. (What they do in that case is to record the spec, so that when you want it later - and I did - you can just ring up and have it made). The driver fitting was a masterclass in the mechanics involved. We must have worked through more than six different heads and a dozen shafts as they eliminated issue after issue. Pretty much every change you make to a driver seems to affect 6 other things. So it is a balancing act. What we ended up was a surprise to me. At no point did anyone I talked to outside of ForeGolf suggest that a stiff shaft was the right one for me. But, that's what I ended up with. In a complete oversimplification on my part I understand it to be that the light stiff shaft matched with the particular head results in something that is 'firm' at my swing speed. I am sure there is lots more going on, but that works for me. After the fitting then it takes a few weeks for them to make the club to specification. This is not custom fitting, this is custom building so they actually in all the components and build it, not take the best fit from the shelf. The workshop is a glass box in the middle of the office so you can see what they do.I think all that is a long way of saying, drivers in particular are tricky to fit, but it can be done right if they have the range of options and experience. There is so much going on (flex, torque, face deflection, smash factor, spin, loft angle, launch angle, centre of mass, centre of gravity) that it needs a real expert to sort it - not trying to dismiss helpful staff in the big chains - but they haven't got the tool kit, and well the Ping man is a Ping man with a Ping solution to whatever problem you have. Ping suggested a draw biased, regular shaft 10.5. ForeGolf fitted a neutral, stiff shaft, 9 (the draw bias was to fix the symptom not the cause.) So after months of trying to sort the driver myself, playing multiple rounds with different brands and shafts, and a run at the launch monitor in the shops, one hour in ForeGolf got me the ah ha moment!. So on the course now nearly six months with the driver and it has made a huge difference to the enjoyment of the game. I now have about 25 yards longer (better flight, less spin, and good roll out), but the real difference has been staying on the fairway. I went from 18.4 to 15.5 and I am playing to the 16 handicap not hoping for the odd miracle round. If you have a reasonably stable swing and need driver - these are the people to find it.

5 star service from start to finish, foregolf is an absolute must visit if you want to ensure your clubs are setup for your game and takes all the questions marks out over your bag!! First thing is to say is the setting is a golfers paradise from the drive down kileen castle GC and pulling up to foregolf it's stunning! Met by Derek on arrival and offered tea/coffee and sat down to relax at a table with iPad setup in front of the custom build studio which is very impressive, on the wall there is a gold putter from the ping vault awarded to foregolf for services to golf, that's pretty special to be fair. Booked an hour long full bag fitting session and was given nearly double that in time by David in the end, bought into the fitting studio which is filled with everything from a golfers dream, large screen connects to trackman IV to display all your data, heads, shafts, putters etc from every major manufacture, hitting bay with fairway and rough on it and that looks out onto an amazing driving range!! Told David what I was looking for which was mainly distance from a driver as I was already accurate and could he check my irons to see if suitable looking at loft and lie etc, finally wanted a new hybrid which I gave him the distance I wanted from it and a 58 degree wedge to finish off my bag!! David went through everything in detail starting with driver and concluded the one I had was setup best for me and with a few tweaks was able to get my yardage up 10 yards which was ideal, checked my irons and said they were perfect for me and no need for change and finally went through the hybrid and wedge fitting and came out with a cracking titleist 818h2 which I was flushing to my exact yardage and straight and a Mizuno s18 wedge in 58 degrees which was perfect for what I wanted high spinning and loads of bite! All in all an absolute 5 star service from start to finish and no hard sell at all genuinely the lads will tell you what is best from your game and determine that through the results which are black and white and it's up to you then what you choose! I am now confident my bag is perfectly setup for the year ahead and would highly recommend anyone that really wants to improve to stop tinkering around and get properly fit here at foregolf which is the best service in golf fitting there is!! I visited ForeGolf in July and had clubs made following a custom fitting session at the facility. In high street retailing, custom fitting really means no more than choosing regular or stiff flex for your brand of choice.( or the brand of choice the most mark up is on at that particular time!) At ForeGolf, this is a much more individual process. Different club heads can be fitted to different shafts depending on the results of trackman data. The possibilities are endless, but you are finally fitted with a set of clubs made specifically for you. My old set of clubs had 3, 4, and 5 irons that were never used, I couldn’t hit them. After having my clubs made, there are no clubs in the bag that I can’t confidently pull out and swing. I only had my new clubs for the last month of summer rules and I’ve lost 2 shots. I can’t wait for the new golf season again. If you think this is for low handicappers, think again. This was the best golf investment I’ve made in 10 years. Do the fitting and get the clubs built. My only regret is that I didn’t do this 3 or 4 years ago.

Absolutely brilliant experience.As one example, I watched the video of the ball strike pattern on the club face changing from being sprayed all over the club face to being more centred and consistent and wondered if it was set up.for the video. Well, let me tell you, the exact same thing happened to me when I went. I started off by hitting my own 7 iron and then hit some others with little tweaks here and there with different shafts and different weighted heads until the strike pattern became very consistent. OK, it may have been 4mm off centre to the toe and 1mm off center high, but I can live with that.UPDATE:The best thing about ForeGolf is that you are not changing your golf swing. The clubs are made by them to fit your swing. Everyone I play with said your game will go away for 6 months until you get used to the new clubs.How wrong they were.I recently had my best round ever, 76 gross. When I went to get clubs fitted I was 17 handicap, now I am down to 12. I believe that the improvement ir purely down to the clubs. For example, on one par 3, 190 yards I used to hit 3 or 4 iron, not I am hitting 6 or 7 iron. The ball is coming into the green much higher and now has a chance of stopping on the green

My first time getting a fitting. You book the fitting and fill out a short questionnaire on what you want from the fitting (new clubs,adjust current, what clubs to focus on etc. ) then arrive on the day and get a cup of tea.After a warm up we got into it. Started with my irons to get a baseline and then it was a flurry of heads and shafts, each one feeling distinctly different until David found the set up that produced the best numbers and the one I liked.Same for the woods and utilities. No pressure to buy, the numbers/feel speak for themselves. David recommended lessons on the woods as the improvement, while there, would not gain as much as a bit of work on technique first.Once your finished you get your rough specs ( shaft/head/loft/grip size) and a price. The irons worked out 6.5% dearer than off the shelf and the driving iron was actually €15 cheaper.After a few emails ( promtly replied to) covering any qualms I had I ordered the irons and had them in 6 days. I also got a free 50° wedge with the same shaft,grip and adjustments and a round of golf at Killeen Castle.I think the free wedge was part of a Mizuno promotion.Its still a while before I know if the clubs will help ( I will update ) but the staff and the service are fantastic, much more personel than the big retailers.For the service you get its a steal, I will be going back for a putter fitting until my golf has no excuses.18/12/18 UpdateAlmost a year has passed since my fitting with ForeGolf.In that time I added the 3i utility I was fitted for and it was built to my specs quickly and has become my go to club on nervous tee shots.I've played probably a little less this year than I usually do but I still have around 50 (27 comps) rounds with the clubs which I think is good enough for this review.I'll add aswell that I've taken 4 lessons ( I have had lessons before ) and made the extra effort to put in some range time around a busy schedule.So, I started off at 21.6 and I am currently 18.6 with my best competition round of 44pts with 2 scratches/triples. I believe I will drop another 3-4 shots next year aswell with the way I was still chipping away at my HC.After I got about two months of play with them I started quite literally playing the best golf I have ever played. I still have my bad days but they are not the destructive rounds I've had.I've had rounds in the past where I felt I was hitting the ball really well and not scoring, that has honestly changed with my new clubs. They are not stopping every bad shot but the score killing over draw is very very rarely seen now.I guess this is the perfect review or close to it. I struggled for years to get my handicap down ( last year I didn't hit the buffer except a freak round where I got really lucky) and this year I feel I am playing well below my new lower handicap. The clubs definitely had a hand in this along side my own efforts. I feel more comfortable than I ever had with these in my hand just as I did on the day of the fitting, I know these were fitted and built to ME, and its one less thing I think about over the ball.

I have been an ultra-satisfied and repeat Foregolf customer since 2008. Recently I turned to Foregolf to help with the worst part of my game, my putting. Dave fitted me with a 34" Odyssey O-Works Black Marxman with a mid-sized grip. I am delighted with the results. There is a number of things I love about the putter. First, it sits perfectly square on the ground when I ground it - no doubt the result of the fitting. Second, the mid-sized grip suits perfect - I have small hands, and the large grip was too big. In the past I always used the standard "slim" grip, but I am much more comfortable with the larger grip. In terms of performance, I have noticed a few things. First, the roll is amazing - the ball just seems to stay on the ground. Second, my distance control is much better. Third, I am holing more putts, especially those inside 5 feet, which I used to miss lots of. This putter will stay in my bag for many years to come.

I first got fitted by fore golf custom 4 years ago where I got a full set of cobra irons and a Wilson driver, my golf game improved so much and the consistency that comes from properly fitted clubs can only be experienced when you visit fore golf custom.I've been back last year for a new Taylor made M1 driver and again the results have been amazing. A year or so on from visiting ForeGolf to be fitted for irons my game is in good shape with my handicap coming down to 5 before a hand injury halted my progress. I found the whole experience to be fantastic, a huge combination of shafts and heads ensure that the guys find the right fit for you and when you add in hitting quality balls and Trackman 4 this is real fitting and cant be compared to the high street stores.I am delighted with the MP18's and would highly recommend this experience to anyone serious about getting clubs to enhance their game.

A superb experience. Everything about the fitting is brilliant, from the warm welcome at reception to seeing the amazing workshop and then getting to try a vast array of clubs and shaft combinations. Nothing was rushed, David wanted to ensure I was happy with everything and there was no absolutely no sense that he just wanted to sell something for the sake of it. I was even advised keeping some of my existing equipment as it was performing well. I couldn't fault the session and highly highly recommend visiting.

I showed up for my bag check and was welcomed with the offer of some tea or coffee prior to being handed a bucket of balls to go and warm up naturally prior to my check. Once I felt warmed up I was then brought into the open practice bay/fitting room. For anyone who has experienced a fitting before just imagine your standard fitting ×10. The level of detail that these guys put into their fittings is top drawer. You just hit away and you are given different clubs intermittently with adjustments made during the session. Being only 5ft 6 I was unaware of just how shaft length and lie angle altered my ball flight. It turned out I had auto fitted myself for my driver and shaft so no issues or changes needed there. My hybrid and wedges were also fine however we found my 3 wood needed a shaft change to match the hybrid and driver. My irons had always been difficult to control and Dave informed me that the irons were to long and flex should be stiff. We went back and forth to an iron he had put together and for a club I had just hit a handful of times I was hitting more consistently with it than my own iron. Not on a screen like my previous store fitting this was me playing to an actual practice green. I was showed the findings after and no pressure was put on me to purchase but I had gone there to sort the issue not just find it and go home with it. So i ordered new irons to spec with a gap wedge spaced at the correct loft to fit in with my spacing of loft on my own wedges... great people and like anything you really don't know how something is done right until you experience the good and the bad. Thanks for a great experience and at 100 euros for a bag check I learned more than the equivalent cost of 10 buckets of balls at a driving range... Thanks to Foregolf 👏

I attended with my father who was the one getting fitted. He was quite nervous attending as he is a beginner and did not want to make a mess of his shots. The minute he went in, derek and dave made him feel very comfortable. The smile on his face throughout the fitting was great. The ball was going straighter and further and he was loving it. 18 handicapper - I went to Foregolf last week and was unsure what to expect and a little nervous about spending the whole session shanking shots and wasting everyone's time! Never been fitted before and was playing with handed down sets with very flexible shafts. From minute 1 I was put at ease, a warm welcome with a cup of tea, a great view of the workshop while I waited, Don spent 10 minutes explaining exactly what they do, how they do it and what to expect at the end of it and it may be something he does with everyone but it really was appreciated. Then Dave took me into the fitting room, He just handed me one of my own irons and let me warm up and made it seem like he was busy doing something else while I got the few awful sings out of the system. Once I felt like a consistent swing going I told him and he already had some observations for me. The swing speed I was generating was not suited to flexible shafts was the most glaring problem. I tried several setups with different shafts, heads, weights etc. and each time he handed me something he explained what he was trying to achieve. From having a 40 yard variation on a good to bad swing it had dropped to a consistent 10 yards variation. The biggest thing was I had no idea what manufacturer I was hitting! It could have been Aldi's finest I was hitting and I wouldn't have known, it was all about getting the configuration to suit me. Once the irons were finished with he looked at the woods and driver and he adjusted the clubs that I had instead of recommending changing them. If I was a low handicapper then there was improvements to be made he said but the return on my investment would not be as great as it would with regard to the irons. By the end of the fitting I had correctly setup woods and Driver and new irons/wedge recommendations with no pressure to purchase anything. I purchased new irons and cannot wait to get them in the next week or 2. The wedges I will probably get in the future and whether that is in 2 months or 2 years the information will be there and they will be able to make them for me. A really enjoyable experience and that's from an middle to high handicapper hoping to get closer to middle rather than high!

The setup at Foregolf is top notch. I got fitted Back is January 2016 which is two years ago with Driver, 3 wood and hybrid. From the moment I walk through the door I felt welcome. My long game performance has improve and a lot more consistent. Process was great, they didn’t try and sell me anything that I didn’t need and the session wasn’t rushed until we got it right. Over the last 15yrs i have had a number of "fittings" for Irons, woods and wedges. I always felt that choosing a putter was down to feel & comfort.I decided to have a putter fitting and learned a lot from the session. Dereks natural ability to see whats needed and being able to see the putts roll on the Trackman screen helped so much. Its amazing the difference a small bit of weight helps the putter swing.

I would like to highly commend both Derek & Paul for their professionalism and welcome that they gave me on Friday last. The whole set up is fantastic, right from the start coffee was offered and then I was given a bucket of golf balls to warm up on the range. Having bought golf clubs before the approach here is completely different. I had a full bag check which took over an hour - Paul first of all got me to hit balls with my own clubs and identified straight away the type of clubs that would help my game significantly. I went for a full set of King Cobra F8 irons along with driver, 3 & 5 wood which based on the trackman analysis should give me an average of 12 meters extra distance per shot. Even minor details like grip size are checked (I have never seen this even mentioned before when buying so called “custom fit” clubs) in order to give the most optimum custom fit. These guys are committed to giving a top quality service and not money focused- Paul advised me that the putter I have didn’t need to be changed. I’m really looking forward to receivng my new clubs. This is a brilliant example of a great small family run business offering top quality service to its customers.

.Amazing experience, a must for every golfer or would be golfer. People talk about customer service but these guys have mastered it. From the moment you arrive you get their full attention and their expertise is amazing. I booked an appointment and was seen on Tues .In less than an hour I learned more about my swing and the clubs I should be playing with. I brought a pal of mine with me to see what they do. As I was trying out a new driver which suited me, Derek saw that my pal was interested in hitting the same driver...it didn’t work for him BUT Derek studied his swing and ball flight on the range and on Trackman and picked out a totally different driver which my pal nailed every time. Which proves that each of us have different requirements when it comes to golf clubs. Great to see where the clubs are made up by the master craftsman Don and the precise measurements he works on. Booked a putter fitting session with David and was delighted with the process! Ran through the various options that I had available to me, going through the numbers on Trackman and explaining the significance of them and then the various ways to try and improve these numbers. I found the fitting to be a great experience to find something that made sure it was an improvement, while also listening to what my preferences, and ultimately the valuable knowledge of why we were changing certain aspects of the club. Overall I couldn't recommend the experience enough and I will certainly be back!

Got fitted for a new Rogue Driver one month ago and it’s transformed my game. Returned with a view to buying a new set of Irons this week and after playing a number of different brands/different shafts the fitter reckoned I was getting such a small increase in distance that the investment didn’t make sense. If I’d gone to a golf shop For fitting Im pretty sure that they would have tried to convince me to changeI did change my 3 wood and added a 5 Hybrid/Recovery in place of my 5 Iron which I found difficult to be consistent with.I have had clubs “fitted” before By golf shops but would recommend Fore Golf as Money very well spent and much superior to anywhere’s else I’ve experienced.

I can't believe the difference getting fitted for new irons has made. Six weeks after getting my clubs I have gone from a 7 figure golfer down to 5 Which is something I never ever taought was possible. I would highly recommend it if u play regularly . I am now getting fitted for a new putter to complete the set. 10 out of 10 for me FourGolf

What a fantastic experience! From the moment you walk through the door you know this place is a bit special. Made to feel completely welcome. David is so knowledgeable and honest. He didn’t try and sell me anything I didn’t need. If what I had did the job it was left alone. I got two hybrids to plug distance gaps and give me a “go to” club off the tee. Highly recommended, if you want to improve your golf and have the assurance that your equipment is fitted to you and your game look no further.Top class in every way.

I had an absolutely brilliant time at my one hour fitting with David. It was apparent early on that he really knew his stuff, and understood what I wanted from my session. After hitting a few shots and creating a good data sample, David handed me a Mizuno iron which looked and felt perfect. I'm absolutely delighted with the clubs, and feel like I can't wait two weeks to get my hands on the full set. Having tried 4-6 driver combinations, David suggested I stick with my own driver - dispelling any pre-conceived notions I had that perhaps it would be an extended sales pitch. Brilliant facility and excellent service - the fitting room itself is like Aladdin's Cave for the golf equipment enthusiast.

I was in with the Foregolf team about a week ago. I’m a very tall, 6’ 6” a high handicapper. I’m 34, been playing golf frequently now for about one and a half years and was starting to get very frustrated at how bad I still am. I have not been getting much better despite frequent lessons. I was nervous going in as part of you thinks maybe I’m just a terrible golfer. The guys put you at ease straight away.I probably should have gotten custom fitted clubs a long time ago, as my new irons are going to be an inch longer than my previous set, now +2.25 inches, and 3 degrees more upright. After trying a few shaft and iron options the Callaway Rogue irons seemed the perfect fit. I am still in shock at how much further and straighter the clubs were going, I was getting 30 yards more out of the 7 iron with a much improved ball flight. 4-pw and a mizuno wedge to go with it. I felt so much more comfortable standing over the ball.The guys put a fairway wood shaft in a Mizuno hybrid for me, to get something with a suitable length . It was going further and straighter than I was able to hit my soon to be old driver. I’ve always been a bit wild off the tee with a towering slice, which has been slowly improving. I think it might improve drastically soon though. Again after a good few combinations the M4 d-type seemed to help me a lot. The distance was much longer than I ever expected to see and even my bad shot was longer than my previously good drives. The bad ones still would probably not be on or near a fairway but not out of bounds, which will be a game changer for me. There is still work to do on my control there.Waiting for the clubs to to be built is going to be two of the longest weeks of my life. I can’t wait to get my hands on them now. If you are tall going to the guys in Fore Golf is a must

Booked a custom fitting session with David and was delighted with the whole process. Very personalised service from a true professional and lots of options explored before settling on the right combination of shafts, heads etc to help me improve my game. Never felt rushed from the time I arrived, and was presented with a lovely coffee from Christine followed by a nice chat with Don and Derek before my custom fit with David.

Update:This is an update for my review for ForeGolf. Quite honestly I would be of a slightly cynical nature so I wouldn't be updating my review if I didn't truly believe it. :)My previous review (below this one) discussed the experience of the custom fitting process which was fantastic. Since then I've received my custom fitted irons and I must say I am absolutely delighted with them. The clubs are gorgeous and I can't fault any part of the club build. I put the clubs in play the very day they arrived and they performed really well for me after a few holes of initial acclimatization. I was really surprised that they felt comfortable so quickly. I was expecting it to take several rounds. I've since gone on to play several competition rounds and honestly the irons are absolutely class. I'm quite tall, so the clubs are longer than my previous irons and more upright. This has helped me feel more comfortable standing over them. The carry distance of the irons is far more consistent than my previous set. The clubs actually produce consistent gap distances unlike my old set. It really is chalk and cheese. I struggled with the distance control with my old irons. During the fitting, it became clear that my strike was really inconsistent with my old irons. This made it very difficult to have consistent distance control. I don't have this issue with the new irons. It's so easy to strike them well due to them being fitted for me. They are the correct length, lie and weight. This to me, underlines the importance of the custom fit at ForeGolf. I honestly couldn't be happier with the whole experience at ForeGolf. The irons cost me the same as they would have from the major golf retailers (Yes, I've checked!) and ForeGolf also included a custom fit gap wedge which was a lovely surprise. If you're thinking about giving ForeGolf a shot, I would strongly urge you to go for it. It's really worth the fitting cost. I'm sorry I didn't do it sooner. Thanks to all at ForeGolf.-------------------------------------------------First Review:Superb experience at ForeGolf! The hospitality my wife and I received when we arrived was first class. Don & Christine were so welcoming and put us at ease straight from the start. The location and facility is absolutely second to none. The fitting itself was fantastic. I must say Dave was brilliant and did everything he could to find the right clubs to suit me. He was excellent at explaining all the different combinations that he gave me to try and the reasons why we were trying them. There was no such thing as a stupid question and honestly he was an absolute gent to deal with. There was no hard sell on the day. If something wasn't better than what I had, we moved on. Another thing I really appreciated was Dave's attention to detail about where I was going to gain the most from my game, in my case iron play accuracy as opposed to increased length from the tee. I would have no hesitation in recommending foregolf. It was an absolute pleasure.

I don't know what the percentage of the game of golf is in the mind, but I know it's a lot. I spent an hour at Foregolf getting an NCT done on my clubs. (Getting lofts and lies checked). It confirmed what I suspected, it's not always "my technique" So now I am swinging with confidence ! ! P S. While I was there Dave set me up with some alternative clubs and shafts. No pushy sales pitch, just some nice temptation . . . . Did someone say what do I want for Father's Day ?

A very personal and professional service provided, I've been to visit twice over the last few years and I can't recommend it highly enough. What I like most about Fore Golf is their honesty and focus on improving a players game rather than making a sale. They will only recommend a club that will help you improve your game rather than interested in getting that easy sale. If the current equipment has is working for you they will tell you that.
