Stone of Accord Tournament, August 2009
The Tour Truck has been making appearances all over the country and this month we made our annual pilgrimage to The Old Head of Kinsale for the Stone of Accord Tournament. For the past four years, the tour truck attends the week long event and provides services for the members and their equipment. We are on site for everything from new grips to full new builds just like we would on Tour. With the windy conditions we built a number of new drivers and full sets for the guys to put into play for the tournament.
We had a lot of people visiting onboard while we were there, from both Kinsale and further afield like Bob McMymn from Canada put an extra 20 yards using his ForeGolf custom driver. We also met up with the Irish members who we hadn’t seen since last year and raised a toast to the first Irish Captain of the club, Mr Ed Martin.
Normally we would be straight back on the road to HQ but this time we decided to stay for a day or two and organised to see some ForeGolf customers and their friends from the Cork area We managed to help quite a few more golfers on our travels and will look forward to seeing how they got on with their new custom made clubs.
