What’s new for 2015 – The ForeGolf Fitting Matrix

While the golf season is winding down everywhere else, we're already working on what will happen in The ClubRoom next year.

We’ve been busy going through the new range of test heads and shafts ahead of the 2015 golfing season. All of this R&D will then be used to build all the test clubs in The ClubRoom.

We do things differently, we don’t just open boxes and put clubs on a shelf or in a bag. We test all the new heads and shafts to get our customers the best results.

First, we figure out how the head works.

  • We check all the new range of heads from the different brands.
  • We weigh, test and almost completely dissect each head so we can understand how it is designed and what it will do.
  • We will then know what it is designed to do and who it will work for.

Then, we start working on the shafts.

  • Again, we test all the newest shafts, work out how they respond and flex.
  • How they feel and what they will do to the head and then to the ball.
  • We then match all the best characteristics of each head with the best performing shafts to suit how the head works best.

Using all this information, we build the test clubs in The ClubRoom.

Our expertise in clubmaking means we really understand club design and how the different parts of the club (the shaft, the head, the flex) work together. We hand build every club in The ClubRoom so that we know that each part will perform the very best for our fittings.

Our R&D background and access to the different components means we’ve found better combinations of shafts and heads compared to those that the brands supply. The new technology in heads and lightweight shafts works great but we have taken things a step further and can demonstrate with our specially built test clubs – our findings of improved accuracy and distance.

We can make the new range of clubs do extraordinary things.

Some of the new clubs for 2015 that we have ready for fitting include:

  • Titleist 915 Drivers, Fairway Woods and Hybrids
  • Mizuno JPX 850, MP-H5, MP-15, MP-4 along with the full range of Irons
  • Callaway Big Bertha Alpha 815 and 815DD Drivers
  • Taylor Made RSi1 and RSi2 irons, R15 Drivers and Burner Aero Drivers.
  • Ping G30 Drivers
