There will be an iron branded under the Burner family that will have the thinnest face and will earn a name as the most forgiving iron by Taylor Made. It will be used by players on Tour but is claimed to be the longest hitting iron ever produced and will be available to all golfers at every level. As of this moment it does not even have a name but will retail in Ireland at €750 approx. (3-PW in steel shaft). We have been told it will be available from March 2009, so remember, you heard it here first.
In more exciting news Fore Golf can reveal that there will also be a new driver launched that will become the most adjustable product ever produced in golf. At this early stage, this driver does not have a name but it will be a low spinning, high launch head with a traditional shape. It will be high MOI which means very stable through impact but the most exciting news is that you will be able to adjust the loft of the club at the hosel and also adjust the lie. This will mean it can be tweaked to suit conditions and you can adjust the loft to suit the wind or the ground conditions. It will also allow for specialists golf technicians like Fore Golf to test you for the club and get the launch and spin parameters perfect for every golfer. This club will hit the shelves in March 2009 and will retail at €499 approx.
