Taylor Made are busting out again with a technological breakthrough with the launch a new family of product called R9.
The integral part of this group will be the driver; it will have the famous Taylor Made’s screw weights at the back of the head and also features a removable shaft. This excellent innovation will allow the golfer to have the driver’s face adjusted to suit the swing path and ball flight.
Goodbye hooks and slices, hello fairways. Soon you will be able to create 75 yards of side to side manipulation of the ball flight by rotating the head on a special shaft sleeve and with the weights in the head. We are expecting great success from this driver with our Select-Fit system and have forecasted this to be one of the best products to hit the golf market in some time.
It will come as a TP or Tour version and as a fairway woods, all with moveable heads. This screw in process for the heads will also allow for shaft changes, a shaft to go low and a shaft to go high depending on the course layout or weather conditions, I’m sure you will agree that this is absolutely pure genius. There will also be the introduction of a new Burner irons and Rescue. The cost for the R9 normal driver will be €450 approx. We are expecting availabilty in March 2009.
