It can be a real pain, if you are used to something and then for whatever reason have to change.
Take golf club heads for instance. We get used to a head design; we have tested it, dissected it and fully understand it. We know how it works and have matched our range of custom shafts with the head to suit all our ball flight requirements. We know how much it can bend, how to build it and know it inside out, we even know exactly how far it can and will go. Then as soon as we have it sussed and it’s all running like clockwork…. a new one comes out.
In golf, it’s inevitable that change will come and new heads will be launched. Technology and innovation are forever changing but sometimes it doesn’t change or improve that quickly. It’s our job to make sure that if we build a new set – that it will work for our customers, that it will go further or straighter or whatever the golfer needs. We police the product, test it and make sure our golfers aren’t just buying it because it’s new.
It seems Taylor Made are getting their product out faster and faster, as soon as a new head is coming, we get it in and pull it apart literally, we do this to figure out how we can use this new technology and design to help our golfers. Behind the scenes at ForeGolf, there is a huge amount of product testing and performance comparison.

We agree that change can be a pain, but if we can use the technology to make the game easier with the clubs doing more then surely change is good.
