What do the top 5 ball strikers on the PGA Tour use ?

So if the best players on Tour have their drivers tuned and hand built to suit them using the best heads and shafts, shouldn't the normal golfer use the same technology?

Here you will see the top 5 ball strikers off the tee and what they use.

Even with the best talent in the game, custom built drivers are the only way to hit the ball further and straighter.

  • None of the heads are the same, most players are contracted or paid to play the different brands.
  • No one is being paid to play the shaft and this is where each club is customized to suit the player, his swing, the ball flight and the head he plays.
  • Each player is different so each of the shafts are different.
  • There is no sign of any “standard” shafts and none of the weights and flexes are the same.

We say a one size standard shaft to suit everyone is just not possible. So if the best players on Tour have their drivers tuned and hand built to suit them using the best heads and shafts, shouldn’t the normal golfer use the same technology?

Surely the everyday golfer needs as much help from the club as possible. We don’t believe any golfer is standard, we believe every golfer should play with clubs built specifically for them, regardless of handicap.

At ForeGolf, we build clubs from component heads and shafts based on what needs to be achieved for you.
