Some great advice if you’re struggling with our custom clubs

We recently built a customer some new irons and at the beginning things didn’t quite work out for him, here's his story of what happened

He had been playing with the same clubs for 35 years and was nervous about changing as he liked his old Ram Irons.

We wanted to share his story to show sometimes new clubs can take a little bit more time “to bed in”

He was losing distance year on year and his golfing buddies were passing him out with newer technology and shafts. He was nervous about changing as he liked his clubs and hit them fairly straight.

We used a much lighter Nippon 85 gram steel that created more ball speed and made it easier for him to get the ball in the air.
We also used a Callaway Forged head that looked a little similar from the top-line to his old heads but was bigger than his old ones for more confidence, a better feel with improved ball flight.

He struggled with the new clubs at first as he was trying too hard and needed to get used to a different feel and very different ball flight. We encouraged him to give it time and said he could come back to have us re-asses them at any time.

We knew that these were the clubs for him and they were perfect. It just needed a bit more time, a little effort and patience…..

Hi ForeGolf,

Recently I got a set of Callaway Iron from you and I had some difficulty with them.

I rang you twice and you very kindly organised a free half hour to re-check same. I cancelled both half-hour offers.

I thought the clubs would make me a better golfer and I couldn’t understand why I was playing so badly. I wasn’t sure what you could do for me if I went back to you.

I knew one thing, that these clubs were made specially for me. With this knowledge I persevered and realised that the clubs couldn’t work on their own and that effort was required from me.

I am really happy to say that the clubs and I have bonded and I know things will only get better as I grow in confidence with them.

The lads in the club have come to me and asked me on a regular basis what I think of Foregolf.  I have always said you were people to be trusted and as far as I am concerned that has proven to be the case. I believe one or two of them have already purchased from you.
