I recently got fitted for a new set of irons at ForeGolf. The lads at ForeGolf are extremely welcoming after Dave taking me for a 30 minute session I immediately seen the difference between my old clubs and these fitted clubs. Derek was a pleasure to deal with after and I immediately purchased a new set. I cannot wait to get my hands on these new clubs!

I had a very enjoyable 1 hour custom fitting session at ForeGolf, where I tried and tested a broad range of shafts/ shaft weights and club heads, to narrow in on exactly what best suited me. So excited was I, that I immediately bought their recommendation. My custom fitted clubs arrived yesterday, about two weeks after purchase and I played a round immediately. Wow is all I can say. In terms of weight, feel and look , the Taylor made P790 clubs that they kitted me out with, were truly made for me. I have been fitted previously for clubs in the main golf stores, but ForeGolf is really the next level up and I could not recommend them highly enough.

On arrival to meet derek and Dave u get such a warm welcome and treated like a pro ..Dave sets u up and explains as to what and how it works so u get the best experience on all club heads and shifts that u get fitted for with the greatest of knowledge that Dave has with clubs he puts u so at ease and to derek explaining how it all works , As I’ am so impressed I can not wait to go back to foregolf to get my new clubs . Had a custom putter fitting with Dave yesterday and was really impressed, great to try out so many different putters, brands and styles, different shafts and grip sizes and then fine tune in the putter based off trackman data to ensure that what I’m getting will be optimised to make me as consistent as I can be with my flat stick!! Can’t wait to get it now and as always I can’t recommend these guys enough. Absolute professionals!!

Absolutely blown away by my experience at Foregolf. The family is warm and welcoming and the communication throughout was timely and valuable. The fitting with David was unbelievable . He is a true master in his craft.I received my clubs (2) weeks to the day of my fitting (in Portugal), and the attention to detail in the build is astonishing. It is absolutely evident that great care went into the creation of my clubs and that every component was assembled with precision and according to the fitting criteria. It's very easy to say that my, very high expectations were exceeded.

Went down to ForeGolf yesterday and was blown away with the data driven decisions, got to try multiple heads and shaft types, Dave excellently used his many years of fitting experience of varying heads and shafts and fit me to a driver and shaft type that had the lowest standard deviation. Dave was extremely professional and friendly, made the fitting even more enjoyable. Definitely walking away with a fitted driver that will give me confidence off the tee. Very very impressed, already booked to go back in April for a set of Irons. Highly Recommended for anyone looking to get fitted for any golf clubs.

My fitting session was very relaxed and enjoyable. David kept it practical and non-directive and used the trackman technology only to illustrate points he'd observed from my swings / strokes and to support / expand on his club & shaft recommendations. Can’t recommend Foregolf highly enough brought my son here on the 5 of January for a fitting. From the moment we arrived we experienced the highest level of professionalism I have ever experienced. Dave who did his fitting treated him like he was a professional even though he’s only 13 nothing was to much bother when wanted to try several different clubs. Then Derek was great with us he went through the whole order process and choosing his grips and made everything so easy. And when it came to collecting the clubs only just over 2 weeks later Christine brilliant. And have to thank Dom for the wonderful job he did on my sons clubs they are brilliant. First day on the course with them he shot -1 can’t thank Foregolf enough for everything.

I visited with Foregolf on Tue 18th Jan, from start to finish it was an exceptional experience. On arrival I was greeted by Dave and we went through the club trials to see what best suited. All options explored. From then it was on to Derek who as always was very professional.All in all I would highly recommend Foregolf for any of your club needs, whether it’s Driver/ woods, irons or Putters. This is my second visit having used the last set for 15 years with no issues ,at this stage I would not go anywhere else.Wishing all in Foregolf all the best for the future.

Excellent personalised and in-depth service provided by Derek & David. I’m a beginner golfer with a 30+ handicap who was unsure if a fitting was appropriate for my level but I couldn’t recommend it more! By the end they had me hitting straight and long with clubs I could never hit straight before. Will definitely be back for more clubs in the future.

Visited ForeGolf last year for fitting with Dave,he was brilliant and had me relaxed and enjoying the experience, he also wanted to find what worked best for me and didn't push any particular brand, Mark and Derek where brilliant when I ordered and again when I rang for extra items. I am only reviewing now because the reason for going is the results and I couldn'tbe happier. 3 shots off my handicap this year and potential for more. Misses are less destructive and 25 yards longer with my irons. They guys are simply the best in the business and leave golf store fitting in the shade.

I visited ForeGolf at the Killeen Castle golf course yesterday to be fitted for a full set of custom-made golf clubs, excluding the putter. David Williams met with me and with the help of Trackman, we spent the hour testing various club head and shaft combinations. I was impressed with David's enthusiasm and his ability to 'arrive' at a set-up that ultimately helped me to hit the ball more consistently towards the target. I am confident the resulting set of clubs will help bring my golf game to the next level. On the day, I started off striking my own clubs pretty well (or so I considered), getting plenty of distance although typically the balls went left - not overly left but left enough to cause difficulties had I been aiming at a protected green. I play off 15, so recording bogies on my scorecard is not unusual. Within 30 minutes and a number of adjustments, we were beginning to arrive at a set-up that would suit me and I was soon hitting what David would call, a 'nice soft draw'. I can now see the potential to turn these bogies of the past into pars of the future. It's worth noting that every club/shaft combination we tried did not help my accuracy. The more David learned about my swing, the easier it became for him to predict the outcome of the next configuration. In some cases, David correctly predicted the outcome would not be a desirable one. This was reassuring to me when it unfolded that way, as it gave me confidence in the process. We were discovering what would work as oppose to stumbling across a 'lucky-dip'.

Went to Foregolf for a custom fitting and really enjoyed it, Was a bit nervous before hand but David was a gentleman and put me at ease, he knows his stuff and got me going in the right direction quite quickly and explained the process all the way through. On arrival there was a reserved car spot with my name on it, nice touch.Dave met me at the front door and introduced himself and explained everything that he was going to do to help improve my game.He was very helpful in every way possible and answered every question I asked and explained everything in detail.After my one hour section on my ironsDave recommended Taylormade 770 irons witch I've now been custom fitted for, after my smcustom fit I met Derek who took me through the next stage, the making of the clubs and grips that I felt best for me. at no time did I ever feel pushed into buying something I didn't want.The guys are so professional in every way and I'm looking forward to getting my new custom fitted clubs in a few weeks.Many thanks to Dave and Derek and all the team who made this experience possible. Fantastic experience ! From the I arrived (20 minutes early) I was treated like royalty! Bucket of balls to warm up on driving range then a totally personal in depth review of my full bag of clubs. Superb analysis of my style of striking the ball and I’m delighted with the results of my session! Booked for an hour but no pressure to leave after the hour! I absolutely recommend this. Some people go for spa treatment or massages - I’d go back in the morning for another session! Loved it!

I couldn't recommend Foregolf highly enough- these guys are top-level. I had a full bag fitting with David and using his experienced eye and trackman data he stress-tested my swing fully with each club before returning to the optimum club. Derek then further personalised my clubs with grips of my choice. There was no preference for any particular brand and I feel I've definitely got the best fit for me. I've played with them a no of times already and the difference is huge .... looking forward to next season- boom

First visit to Foregolf last Friday. A great experience from start to finish meeting Derek and Dave. Dave talked time through all aspects of my ball flight and carry distances with my off the shelf purchased clubs. I hit a lot of balls and tested a number of head and shaft options and settled on something that will suit me a lot better. Same with Driver, Wedges and Fairway Woods. We also tested my putter, but the recommendation was to stay with what I have. I really enjoyed the time spent in finding the correct products, but also the advice on the putter. No pressure to change to anything for the sake of it. Can’t wait to get my new clubs in a couple of weeks. Thanks again Dave and Derek.

I could not get my 3wood to launch off the ground at all, after watching 4 or 5 swings with it Dave immediately had 3 ways we could try to improve this, the first option worked perfect and then we experimented some more to get the yardage gaps to where we wanted them. I would highly recommend Dave , very friendly , has a lot of knowledge to offer and excellent at his job

Did a custom fit for a new putter yesterday. Staff are so friendly and from the moment I got there they were asking all the right questions about my putting. The fitting was brilliant and tried out numerous styles of putters,grips and shafts. At the end of session they fitted me with the best possible putter that suits my stroke. Can't wait to get it now. Extremely satisfied with the service and knowledge of the staff. Have decided to book in for fitting with the rest of the clubs. Thanks guys.

FOREGOLF Five star experience. This place is like Disneyland for golfers. The personalised parking space is a nice touch even before you walk inside. Shiney new club heads and shafts neatly shelved from floor to ceiling and I must have hit over 50 combinations. I got a full bag fitting. Dave was so welcoming and really generous with his time. The session centred the balance between science and feel. It was a treat hitting so many cool clubs but the real joy was finding my perfect clubs and rounding my bag. I can get as much or as little as I want now and work my way through the recommendations over time. Mark went through grips and options with me after the fitting. There was no rush and no pressure to buy. I've often paid more for clubs I picked up in a shop after a quick and crazy internet search so I was happy with the value and the experience. The trip from Cork was 3 hours but mostly motorway and Foregolf was easy to get to.

The lads take professional to a new level. From the pre-visit contact onwards the level of service is superb. It really is like being a pro. Dave was superb in working through the bag and finding what would work for me. I’m amazed at how good the clubs felt and performed that he recommended for me. Must say I enjoyed my visit yesterday at fore golf and this was my second experience with fore golf and they helped me out with my irons about 15 months ago and true to there word said my woods were good enough for at least another year at that time which they were right about and I felt it was time to revisit this week and yes they have proved to me the difference a year can make with clubs they have given me another 30 yards and straightened my swing thanks to all the staff who look after you even when you have collected your new clubs 5*****

I went to Foregolf yesterday for a fitting session. All I can say is that is if you are passionate about your golf and want to play the best you can, you have to visit them.My current clubs are reasonably recent purchases eg Ping G410 Driver and 3 wood, Titleist U500 2iron, Titleist AP2 irons and Vokey SM 7 wedges. All of these had been fitted in Golf Store fitting sessions. Dave did the fitting session in Foregolf and he was superb. listened to what I was hoping to address with the fitting and explained everything along the way.Results: First off with the driver. Because of my swing characteristics he felt Cobra Speedzone would be more suited to me. I hit it on average 280yds compared with 258yds on my Ping. This was achieved by reduced spin rate without there being any other changes. I was amazed!My 2 iron I bought to enable a low 220 to 230 yd shot but I struggled with it. Dave gave me a low flighted Cobra hybrid that achieved exactly what i was looking for and easier to hit.On my AP2 irons, he identified that my existing shafts were too spinny and gave me shafts more suited to reducing spin. Result was a more penetrative flight.Finally on my wedges i felt my Vokeys pop up too often. He fitted me with Callaway wedges that felt better off the face and did not pop up high. As i said at the start, if you want to get the most out of your game and your clubs there is no better place than Foregolf.

I have just had a Custom Fit of my current set of golf clubs with Dave Williams and the team at Foregolf. While I was generally happy with my current clubs, I have not been getting the distances I felt I should be getting and I wanted to see if there was something that was causing me a problem and could possibly be improved. Using Trackman, Dave reviewed my clubs with me and through trialling differing combinations of shafts and heads, we identified a solution for me that matches my swing and tempo while at the same time giving me much improved distances and gapping. This was an informative and valuable experience and one which I thoroughly enjoyed. I was made to feel very welcome from the start and I would highly recommend Foregolf to any golfer who is willing to invest a little in improving their golf game.

An overdue return to see Dave and try to put a finger on my golfing woes. As my golf game is now 18 holes a week with an odd range session Dave asked for the 3 “keepers” and off to work we went. I recently had a fitting at foregolf. I had fittings at golf stores before but none come even close to the experience I had at foregolf. From the second you walk through the door you are treated as if you are a pro golfer no matter if you are a good/average or poor golfer. The fitting process is second to none in the country. From the detail that goes into matching club heads, shafts and even the grips to suit you and your golf swing. Every step is explained realy clearly and you understand exactly what they are doing. You can see the ball flight as you are hitting onto a range rather than into a simulator and you can see all your data and numbers on trackman. I went to foregolf as I had no confidence in hitting my driver and woods and dreaded hitting them in a round of golf. Now I can’t wait to hit them in a round. These guys are exceptional at what they do and I will defiantly without question go back there again. If they can help my game they can help anyone’s game.

I had a fantastic morning @ForeGolf yesterday. I arrived 20 minutes early (designated parking space for me, which is a touch of class) and warmed up on the range, after this I met with Dave, he really knows his stuff and explains the process very clearly. We spent a lot of time working through shaft and head combinations until we were 100% happy, all done with TrackMan so we could easily and instantly see the performance of each configuration.All in all a really good session, I can’t wait to get my new clubs!BTW Covid compliance is excellent with grips all sanitised and strict adherence to social distancing.

I was fitted last year in foregolf and waited a while to see the full effects before I posted a review. Dave was so professional and helpful in the fitting session and he showed great patience in finding me the right clubs. My handicap has come down by 6 shots since last year so Dave obviously picked me the right clubs! I’ve had friends who’ve been fitted in foregolf in the last year and they’re all delighted with their clubs. Definitely the place to go if you want to be fitted.

Just back from a fitting session up in Foregolf.What a fantastic experience.I was apprehensive going up there after being off for nine months after shoulder surgery and not having played much.I should,not have been.From the welcome from Mark with a bucket of balls to warm up to being greeted by Dave and brought into the clubroom was top class.The fitting session was absolutely.brilliant.Your made to feel at ease by Dave who is an absolute gentleman and a master at what he does.I could,not believe the difference the way I was hitting the clubs Dave was giving me compared to my own.I would highly recommend them to everybody.A world class operation run by top class people.Thanks again guys cant wait for the new clubs.

Great to see all the team at ForeGolf this week. As usual Dave gave me an excellent fitting for my clubs. His wealth of knowledge and experience make the fitting a pleasure and gave me plenty to think about. Had a great fitting session with Dave yesterday. I'm not the kind of golfer who'd know the ins & outs of the specs/shafts but Dave was great, easy to chat away to & explained what he was doing.Was in mainly for my irons & tried a good few shafts & club heads & narrowed it down to a specific shaft & head combo. Seeing the results on the screen (even after a small shaft change), especially the dispersion differences was an eye opener!No hard sell from the lads, very friendly & well worth a visit.

Well what can I say about Fore Golf …..Wow just wow not many places leave me speechless. The wealth of knowledge is unfathomable but its more than that ,they try to give you the best options in equipment to play better but ultimately to enjoy your game more, and the minuet Dave hands you a club that works .You just cant hide the smile on your face .Ever more than equipment Dave gives you advice on what best suits ur needs rather that buying something you don’t need and will not really gain from .Was measuredly surprised at that considering it being a sales environment. Really nice to see that .The staff are second to none and the whole experience was incredibly beneficial .Cant wait to pick up new clubs that’s the only down point ..Waiting :-D

My clubs arrive tomorrow so wanted to post a review. This was my second trip to Foregolf and I felt welcomed back by the team there. Dave works through your current bag in the fitting, then starts picking new clubs, you focus on the feel and quality of the shots, this feedback helps Dave hone in on the right club. Club and shaft combinations fly into your hands and Dave explains the changes as we go, you do hit a lot of shots! You can track the improvements through the Trackman and technology and shaft/club options are explained and so I felt comfortable with the purchases I made at the end of the session. Overall a really enjoyable experience and I look forward to using the new equipment.

From arriving at the door the greeting was warm and welcome. Coffee on offer before warming up in the range. We did a full review of my golf equipment and the evaluation focused mainly on the elevation I get from my irons. We tested four new shaft type and identified the type that gave me the least dispersion and improved accuracy in wind. Tested the latest drivers next to my own and did the same for fairways and rescues. I can't wait to try the new irons and three wood. All in all a very successful trip. I would highly recommend ForeGolf.

I went there for the second time for a driver fitting session. I had a great consideration even if this was part of a previous fitting session thus already paid.Finally after a non short session they found a really good setup for my driver. This place was an absolute highlight on our trip to Ireland! Being in my 60s I've lost a lot of length as the years have gone by. Even though my current clubs are over 10 years old I thought it was down to the aging process and that I would never gain back any yardage. How wrong I was. Once David had seen me hit a few 7 irons he started handing me different clubhead & shaft combinations from different vendors. Some of these worked better than my current clubs and some didn't help me at all. But within less than 15 minutes I had an iron in my hand that felt sweet. Unbeknownst to me at the time I was carrying the ball 15 yards further off the new 7 iron with exactly the same swing. Only when I later looked at the Trackman stats did I realise the full extent of the difference. How did that happen? All I can say is that technology has moved on massively in the last 10 years. David then worked his way through my bag and I saw the same gain with new hybrids and over 10 yards gained with a new 4 wood.I had previously upgraded my driver to a Taylormade M1 so the gains made with the driver were smaller. David wasn't pushy about me changing my driver as he said the existing one was sufficiently good for me.Overall a very enlightening hour and I can't wait to take my new clubs to the course.

I had a great day yesterday in Foregolf at Killeen Castle for a bag check with the Pro and club fitter, David. An hour trying out different shafts and clubheads went by so quickly and it was fascinating seeing how I hit the different clubs on the Trackman. We settled on some changes to my irons and wedges but my woods are still okay. It was all very professional and the changes were explained carefully so I could make an informed decision. I would thoroughly recommend Foregolf for anyone who is serious about having the best clubs for their swing and their game. I can't wait for my new irons to arrive!

A special thanks to Christine and all at Foregolf. I bought a set of Callaway Apex irons in 2018 and have waited to put up this review. To say I have gained confidence thanks my equipment is an understatement. Having identified exactly what I needed the Foregolf crew created a bespoke set of irons that have helped to address some of the issues I had. I now stand over the ball with the huge confidence thanks to my irons. A few weeks ago I had the misfortune of snapping the shaft on my seven iron. Anxious to get it fixed I rang Foregolf to get a replacement shaft. Again they couldn't have been more helpful and despite their issues with a burst water pipe they still delivered. They even went out of their way to pick up and deliver the club back to me so as I wasn't put out at all. Christine organised a special pick up and delivery and I thank her for this. I look forward to getting out tomorrow with my full set again and put in another improved score thank to the irons Foregolf fitted for me. This is a business that should be used as a case study in customer service, delivery of an excellent product and customer experience.

I am an avid golfer and had never been to Fore before.What an experience - I've been through a fitting for woods with McGuirks previously but this was on another level.Lovely welcome chat with Don when I arrived followed by a cup of tea and a few balls to go and hit to warm up in my own time for 15 mins or so.Once the fitting began Dave had me hit a few shots with my old irons - after about 10 minutes of assessing my swing and ball flight alongside the Trackman data we both new what improvements I was looking for (reduce spin to bring my ball flight down). Dave spent the guts of the next hour going through every little detail to achieve this , combining dozens of different shaft / head combinations in varying lengths and setups etc until we found a shaft & head combo that was consistently bringing my spin down from 7000rpm to 5000rpm without changing a single thing about my swing. From start to finish the entire experience was a pleasure andTotal price for my new set of irons - custom fit for me - was only €250 more than the same set off the rack in the McGuirks/Halpenny, with no customisation etc - so money well spent in my opinion.I cannot recommend Foregolf enough.From the people running it to the experience itself -What a pleasure!

Recently had a fitting with Fore Golf for a new driver and to say that the customer service was second to none is an understatement. I arrived slightly earlier than my scheduled time but was made feel very welcome and was looked after with a cup of tea on what was a freezing cold day. The proposed fitting time was suppose to be 30mins, however David (club fitter) was not satisfied that we had found the right setup for me that the fitting actually ending up being nearly 45mins with no pressure being put on me what so ever to hurry up. He was looking out for what was best for me and my game which i greatly appreciated. In the end all the information was presented in an easy to understand format. What i found most satisfying was that David did not come across as a salesman that you would potentially find in traditional golf shops. Instead of trying to flog the most expensive driver on the market to make the most coin he recommended the one that suited my needs based on the data. Again, following on from his recommendation i did not feel pressured to buy the driver then and there. I was given an expected delivery date for my driver and much to my surprise it arrived a week earlier than expected which was a nice bonus. On opening the box, i really liked the personal message from Don that was included, wishing me all the best with my game. It was something i was not expecting but such a small, easy to do piece of detail is just classy. As for the driver, it has been money well spent thus far. I have been miles more accurate and straighter and that has transitioned to my scorecard too!I would highly recommend Fore Golf to anyone looking for a custom set of clubs or looking to improve their game. I know i will be back in the future!

Had a great fitting with Dave this week, I had been struggling a bit for consistency with my fairway wood & hybrid which were bought off the shelf years ago. We tested various head and shaft combinations and once fine tuned the gap between 4 iron to driver was perfectly filled. I can’t recommend fore golf enough, Dave is absolutely top class to deal with and knows the equipment inside out. Really looking forward to getting the new clubs out on the course.

Was fitted by Fore golf a few weeks ago for a new driver.Got the new club two weeks ago and this weekend I came third in a three day singles event in Mount Juliet, and hit 13 of 14 fairways in the process.The club I ended up with wasn't what I expected but my dispersion is now way down and I can swing with confidence.The whole experience was fabulous, and I highly recommend them, they really know what they're doing. My only regret is that I didn't do this years ago.

Having been lucky enough to win the Foregolf competition on Instagram prior to Christmas (their competitions are real) I paid my first visit on 31st January. I was put at ease straight away by Christine with the offer of Tea/Coffee as I waited and Don came out of the workshop for a chat and to explain how the process worked. Just swing as you normally would and we'll fit the Clubs for your swing. Not the other way round.After a few minutes I was brought in to warm up and get loosened up before the fitting began. The first thing that struck me was the surface you were hitting off wasn't just a normal mat but made to feel like you were hitting off grass where you didn't get away with an imperfect contact like you might at a driving range.I was met by Dave then and we discussed what we wanted to get from the fitting which for me was basically a full bag check and see what was on offer. I tried various irons and shaft combinations with varying degrees of success before moving on to the woods. My existing woods were a bit of a mishmash with a rescue which favored going left, a 4 wood which came out of the heel and a driver which spun too much.We eventually settled on the Titleist TS3 driver & 3 wood with a set up to suit me as well as a 19 & 23 degree rescues to bridge the gap from my irons. Dave explained he could improve my irons but with the woods I would have a club in the bag to manage the distances all the way up to driver.I really enjoyed the experience with Dave, he was genuinely interested, explaining plenty to me as we went on. Plenty of variety and easy to see what would suit or not suit the individual. There was no hard sell either on his part trying just to get a sale.All in all an experience that if you are serious about your golf you should look to pay them a visit and check out for yourself what they offer.

Thanks to winning one of ForeGolf's facebook competitions (I didn't believe anybody won these!), I had the opportunity to make my 4th visit last week for a full bag review. It was perfect timing as I had been thinking about changing my 3 wood and hybrid. From Christine's friendly smile and offer of a cuppa upon arrival, to Don sitting down to chat before the fitting and Derek taking the time to do likewise afterwards and through to the actual fitting with David, I had a brilliant time. David had also done my first fitting back in 2009 and once again it was a fun filled and enjoyable session. He used his expertise along with my feedback and the trackman data to provide me with a variety different club heads and shafts to try out. He has a great knowledge and a very friendly and easy manner as we talked through every option to find the one what suited me best. In the end I have ordered the Titleist TS3 3 and 5 wood and I can't wait to get my hands on them. (February 2022) My driver broke a month before a trip to Le Golf National that was postponed twice over two years due to covid restrictions. Derek looked after me, fit me in and got me sorted with a new driver in time for the trip. As usual it was a great experience and I have be very happy with the new driver. We had a great chat and you can feel the family run business in action as by the time you leave you feel a small bit like a part of the family. Unfortunately, Covid hit me and my family so I missed the trip to France and Le Golf National but I still fully appreciate all Derek did to accommodate me.I visited ForeGolf last January (2018). I was fitted for the full bag. On arrival I was greeted, made at ease & enjoyed a coffee while I hit balls in the bay on my own. By the time Dave came in I had warmed up & got the bad shots out of the system. He went through the different club heads & shafts & was very thorough with this. I was not happy with how I hit my driver on the day & thought this would affect the fitting but I don't think it did. I had one driver I felt very happy with & hoped that would be the one Dave recommended. I said nothing & it turned out to be the recommended driver. We looked at the rest of my bag & Dave felt that I was ok with the 3 wood & rescue. He changed the setting n the 3-wood for me. I got my clubs & did not take too long to get used to them. I was part of our Purcell team that lost in the Munster Final & a few weeks later shot -1 off 12. I am currently playing off 9.6. I went back up about a month ago & got fitted for wedges as my gapping was a little off after getting the new irons & as I had got really used to the extra quarter inch on the irons and were not on my old wedges. Again I received the same warm welcome & brought two of my friends from Cork as well up with me for full fittings. I was fitted first & deliberately did not look at any wedge I was hitting to avoid bias (previously used vokeys). I hit one wedge consistently & that was what I was fitted for. It was not a wedge I would have picked (Mizuno) but have been very happy with them so far. While the boys were being fitted Derek answered all our questions, discussed clubs, drew us coffee & gave us range balls to hit while we were waiting. You can get clubs anywhere but you will always wonder should I have different shafts, longer shafts etc. Once you leave ForeGolf you can eliminate all those questions & doubts. You don't want any doubts on the golf course. Thank you ForeGolf.

For years I struggled with huge inconsistency in my game across all clubs. A 15 handicapper going in the wrong direction - and fast. Hooks, slices, fat, thin - I had them all in abundance. Following a visit to ForeGolf and taking up their recommendation for a new set of irons, fairway wood, hybrid and driver, over the last few months my ball striking has improved immensely. To the point that I’m now playing the most consistent golf I’ve ever played. And what can I put this down to? The attention to detail in building a set of clubs that maximise the strengths of my swing and minimises the “misses” we all have in our game. I’m much more confident off the tee and also in approach shots - rather then not knowing where the hell the ball was going to go! This can only be done with the correct lie angle, heads correctly weighted, shafts appropriate to swing speed, and all perfectly built to world class standards on site to the right specification. The custom fitting experience at ForeGolf is fantastic - but the medicine needs to be taken. If the recommendation is for a new set do what you can/must to take it on. You don’t have to go the whole set - if that’s the recommendation - start with driver or a hybrid and eventually get your desired outcome. Going to ForeGolf and and not taking onboard the custom built prescription is akin to going to the doctor, getting a prescription for an illness and then going out the door and buying a generic drug over the internet. It may appear to be the same but is it really?

so we're nearly a year down the line with the driver and 3 wood.the best testimony I can give is I hit 13 of 14 fairways at enniscrone and the one I missed was by an inch.have never been as comfortable as with the driver fitted for me by fore golf.3 wood ain't bad either😉.my only problem now is saving up for a new set of irons to get back in there. thanks again and hope all at foregolf have a great christmas

I attended foregolf about 5 years ago as a 22 handicap. Since then My handicap has dropped to 15 and I returned to foregolf to do another fitting. During the fitting I was told that there was no major difference in the club's I was hitting and the club's I already had. There was absolutely no pressure put on me to purchase new clubs. The fitting itself, I'd recommend to anyone it's fantastic. 10/10

I promised myself if I was playing golf regularly enough that I’d buy new fitted clubs, I had every intention of going to the “high street” shops or a club pro but I heard about Foregolf from a friend, I done some research and decided this is the way to go so I recently got fitted in Foregolf.... and I absolutely loved it!! From the moment I walked in Derek made me feel very welcome and unbelievably at ease... I went for the full bag check and would 100% recommend it, you are under absolutely no obligation to buy when you visit... but of course I did... I went with Mizuno irons and wedges that I couldn’t wait to pick up, I have only played with my new clubs 4 times and have lost a shot already!! I had tried for the past 4 to 6 years to replace an old brass headed putter and it was beginning to drive me crazy. I was recommended by a friend who knew Derek and I booked a 30 mins putter fitting. I brought along 3 of the many putters I had bought and was using depending on which one let me down the least on any given month. The set up and team are great I was taken straight in and told to putt away. I was told I have a straight putting path and all 3 of the putters I brought along were toe heavy putters and all bar one were far to long. I am 5ft 6in tall and was shown that I struggled to get my eye line within 5 inches above the ball path. Two of the putters I was fitted for by a well known retailer. At foregolf I was given a series of putters to see what I liked to try and balance it with what I needed. Such a great experience and I left realising I wasn't mad the last few years struggling from 4 ft. My weight and roll were really good according to the data so once I had the right club put in my hand it felt great. This is a REAL fitting center and until you experience the data and the method of fitting I don't think you can appreciate it. Regarding cost I am currently waiting on my less than 250 euros odyssey putter from foregolf which will replace the putters I had previously bought, one of which was a scotty which cost over 350 euros so that puts it all into perspective... I loved it, so thanks a million I can't wait to beat old scoresJohn

This was my second time with ForeGolf. I got a full bag last time (7 years ago) when they were working from the tour van. The new set up in Killeen Castle is simply magnificent. I had been there briefly a couple of years ago to have them replace the shaft on a damaged iron (another great reason to have custom clubs made, you can replace or add to the set). It’s hard to describe the customer service you get here. It’s a family run business and you get welcomed like a long lost cousin while being treated absolutely professionally at the same time. I imagine Richard Branson would give them 10/10. Fitting clubs is part art, part science, and a little black magic! If you have ever been fitted by one of the big brands at a club day or in a shop and think you know what it’s all about - you’re dead wrong. This is the real deal - fitting and custom making clubs on steroids. To sort out the driver I hit about 7 different heads with varying combinations of shafts as Dave worked the trackman data and my feed back to find a set up that I was confident with and created a ball flight I liked. Reduced spin, a gentle draw and a consistent 30 yards extra carry was the result 👍. All round just great service from lovely people who know their onions.

I just wanted to say a great big thanks for the fitting experience I had as a birthday present last month. I was absolutely delighted and blown away by the whole process and the detail that Dave went into with myself and brother. He was very easy to talk to and helped me settle into the process very comfortably. Also to Christine and Don a big thanks for your kind words and chat as we waited and just before we left. I had read many times over about Don’s dedication and knowledge in this industry but to meet the man and have a good humoured chin wag with him was just brilliant!As they say however behind every good man there is a wonderful woman and that’s certainly true of Christine. Ps. I was fitted for a new Cobra F8 driver and M4 irons and received them some 3 weeks later. I have since played a couple of rounds and had a few sessions at the range. I really couldn’t recommend Foregolf highly enough. I went for a full bag check last year and came away with new Driver, 5 wood and irons. Being able to try the different brands was fantastic, we identified what best suited my game very quickly and they recommended what I should get. There was no hard sell, I also hit my 3 wood and wedges and was advised they suited me and no need to change. The customer service from start to finish was exceptional and the clubs have made a massive difference to my game. If anyone is reading this and is on the fence about going for a fitting, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

My trips to ForeGolf are always fantastic. I was with them last year and got fitted for a driver and faraway wood. I went back again this week to get fitted for irons. The entire experience is well worth the money and the change that the fitting has made in my golf game is noticeable. Decided to go back playing golf about 18 months ago after a 10 yr break and started off buying clubs i liked the look of and ones i read about that might suit me. Gathered up a decent bit of gear that i liked and sometimes worked but eventually decided to go to Foregolf to get properlyfit/looked at and see what they thought. Surprised was an understatement.Probably the best experience ive had in golf overall. I like the science involved in clubs and gear nowadays than was there before and the knowledge i gained from the fitting was unbelievable. The honesty and lack of selling surprises me still, as i know this is a business and the mantra of a business, is to make money. David showed me the difference in what i thought i knew, to what works and then put it into practice in fitting me for irons that gained me 40yrds�7 iron old- 165ish, 7 Iron new,205ish.Iron fitting sorted and we moved to hybrids and after a few hits, he said he couldn’t better what i had. That was a shock as you expect they will try sell.3 wood was ok but pulling right so instead of trying to sell a new one, he changed the setting and head weight and never hit it as well. Driver was much the same & did show a chance of 15% improvement but weighed up the financial cost to an extra 35ish yrds wouldn’t mean much to spend big bucks unnecessarily. Overall im looking so forward to the season ahead for a few reasons.Confidence in clubs eventually.More room in the shed & utility room.A less nagging wife because ive less clubs lying around everywhere��If you’re interested in improving, book in.

Ok so finally got back to ForeGolf yesterday for my long awaited driver fitting after my last visit. Last time as below I wasnt able to get fitted because as I like to say, I was rubbish, numbers didnt add up. So went and got a few lessons with Rebecca Codd and Tadgh Harrington (Harrington Golf Academy) and with Kevin Foy (PGA Pro Stepaside Driving Range). This did the trick. Spin Rate was less than half what it was before, still have a few timing issues but all in all really happy, we were able to get fitted. Just like the last time met the famous Dom for the customary pre fit chin wag and look around the custom fit workshop, and as always left with a lot more worldly knowledge. Then into Dave for the fitting, I would highly recommend anyone getting fitted in foregolf to go to Dave. He is able to explain every part of the process easily and is a really easy guy to get on with. Mind you I have never been to anyone else for fitting there . If you havent bee to ForeGolf, GET THERE. Amazing and well worth the extra few bob to get fitted there. I will be back soon enough for woods fitting. Showed me all the different things they can do with clubs. WOW didnt even know half it was possible . Thanks don . So went into dave for driver fitting and dave came to the conclusion that he wouldnt sell me a driver because my swing wasnt at the stage were a new driver could do anything for me !!! I was SHOCKED with the honesty in a good way . If i had gone anywhere else i would of walked out paying 300 - 700€ for a driver i wasnt ready for . So i have booked back in for the end of march after tadhg and rebecca @ harrington golf academy sort out my swing . Dave thats the best service and piece of advice i ever got . Not only were you honest but you also even took the extra time to give me some pointers . Its just a shame i got new irons fitted elsewhere last year because i would love to get fitted for those from you guys. I've dreamt of a trip to ForeGolf with a few years now. I got the opportunity (thanks to a Christmas/Birthday present combo) and every expectation was blown out of the water. The facility is second to none. I was being fit for a putter, however I will be going back once my irons need upgrading as the range of specifications and build quality is truly awe inspiring. Having a massive interest in the technology behind the products themselves I could only describe the whole process as dreamland. I had a great conversation about all things golf with Derek beforehand and my putter fitting with Dave on Trackman 4 was massively insightful into the advantages and spec differences between each model I tried and all explained simply and effectively. Forget the high street golf shops, if your serious about your game then get your clubs built at ForeGolf you'll never look back and you will be a better golfer.

I recently had a full bag fitting at Four Golf. A great experience. My main area of interest was the Irons, mine could go any distance from too short to too long with lots of misses to the left. The strike pattern could be anywhere on the face, from heel to toe. I thought this was my swing. After giving a bit of my background and history of various clubs I have owned and hitting balls, David nodded and started selecting a shaft / head combination that he felt would solve the problem. The first ball I hit went right where I aimed it, and so did the next 5. The strike pattern was all on the centre of the club (remember my swing is still the same). The distance was consistent too. Who would have thought changing a shaft would have that effect. Changing the heads was the icing on the cake.My woods were generally OK, but he fine-tuned the settings to give a better ball flight and straighter. Richie

Superb set up I could have spent all day there. All the staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. With the latest version of Trackman giving you a whole host of stats it really opened my eyes as to how much of a difference the correct set up can make to your game. Whether you are in the market for new clubs or just want the lowdown on what you are currently playing I would highly recommend a visit. I have had custom fit at high street stores in previous years but this is on another plant.

Have had a couple of custom fittings here, service is second to none. Their attention to detail is excellent. 1st fitting work a treat, the second time I wasn't hitting the ball consistently enough to get an accurate fit. As explained by the member of staff, he could give me something but he would rather I came back and got re-fit when I was hitting the ball more solid. This just shows the emphasis on customer satisfaction and providing the best service possible. Highly recommend to anybody who seriously wants to improve their game.

Had a truly great experience at Foregolf ! I wanted to get fitted for a driver. I tried my own just to see where I was at. After 5 different heads with 2-3 shaft changes on some of them, I found one that suited. Seeing all your stats on the large screen on the wall behind you and having it all explained and how it all impacts the end result gives a great understanding of how real custom fitting works. It's all in front of you, no big mystery to it. Foregolf is just a must for anyone who is serious about their game. Buying straight out of a shop or online is a waste of time if you want results and improvement to your game. There's an old saying "you can't buy a golf game" what you can buy are woods, irons, wedges & a putter that suit you, that give you the best results out on the course ! I'll be back in February for a full bag fitting after some practice over the winter. Well done Foregolf, utmost professionals �

Last week I was the Ladies Nett Winner of the ISPS Handa Irish Blind Golf Open 2017. In the 36 hole tournament with 38 international blind and visually impaired golfers, I achieved my 2 highest ever scores. One of the critical success factors to this win was Foregolf. "Custom fitting" is a term bandied around by retail chains to hook you but unless you've booked time with ForeGolf you'll never really appreciate all the detail and what "custom fitting" entails. Secondly as a customer and I hate using that term because it's one thing your not after an experience, your a friend or addition to the family as best describes the exchange and interaction and how ForeGolf mind you along the journey interacting with them. A gem of a company doing great things because of the people that make it up. Highly recommend any level of golfer to book time with ForeGolf as you will be amazed at what you learn (unlearn all that retail and club advice) and see the benefits to be had to your game. i cannot commend the team at Foregolf enough for their kind and professional approach to my fitting sessions. Christine was welcoming and reassuring in equal measure. David fitted me with a driver that has both cured a perennial slice and added yards to my distance off the tee and, more importantly, provided me confidence on the tee. He also provided me with a fairway wood that is both accurate and long. For the first time in 30 years I have clubs that actually work for me. I went to foregolf on Monday,I have to admit I was a bit anxious going but once I arrived i was put at ease.I was offered a cup of T/C and sat down relaxed for a few minutes before went up to driving range to warm up.Im very new to golf and my ball striking wasn't great to start but David's patience was great as eventually got a few good swings flowing.He was able to tell me that my driver was to long and heavy so he has giving me a lighter shaft and a better head to get me on the right direction. Definitely will go back again once my game improves.Thanks for all the help David and team.

I would love to tell you about my experience with Foregolf , 9 March was a fantastic day weather wise & a planned trip to fore golf , I was very excited. Firstly met Christine on check in & a lovely warm welcome I received, got ready & headed into the bay where I met the invincible David Williams & he started to business straight away , I was there for new irons . He went about his business while constantly chatting & answering the many questions I asked . I don't think it was a easy task in hand for him , but as we tried & tested & surprised myself how quickly both of us could eliminate which was going to work. I really enjoyed the complete experience & have a much better understanding of a custom fit . Looking forward to getting my new clubs . Dont wait, treat yourself to this experience because you will get so much more & you will be looking forward to starting the season off knowing you are fully set up & ready to take on the fairways. Third visit and every bit as good as the first two. Firstly, if what you have works, these guys will tell you - there's no danger that they'll suggest you need new clubs or shafts if they don't believe it. But when they do see that what you're using isn't right for you, they're simply brilliant. The whole experience from beginning to end is top class. They'll tinker with shafts, lofts and lies to see if there's anything can make even a little further improvement and settle on what works. And the results are right there in front of you - Trackman shows you all the stats but the ball sailing out over the range right in front of your eyes tells you more than stats will. Can't recommend ForeGolf highly enough.

For me the best experience I've had in any fitting and certainly wont be going anywhere else again in the future! Went for a full bag check with my relatively new irons & Driver which were fitted elsewhere. Always felt the lies were not quite right for me and this was spotted straight away. They were a mile off! During the session my own 7iron had the lie adjusted and there was an instant improvement in consistency and grouping of shots. Again with the driver, went through a few different options and was advised that a draw biased version of my own driver was the best option and told that I'd be best getting a second hand version with my own shaft which is exactly what I did. Also got the lies adjusted on my irons at foregolf and what a difference it's made! Came 2nd in the first two competitions since these changes! Cannot recommend foregolf enough and I certainly know where I'll be going the next time around!

I got a voucher for a full bag fitting and didn't really know what to expect when I booked in. As soon as I walked through the door, there was a great vibe. Christine checked me in and made me a coffee while I waited. She is so nice. Then Don who makes all the clubs came out to me for a chat and his enthusiasm for what he did was great. David then brought me out to hit a few balls and went through all the aspects of the swing. The great thing is, the find out what club suits you. I tried a lot of clubs and I can tell you my golf is not good so he had his work cut out for him. He was very friendly, so knowledgeable and just an all round gent. He found the right clubs for me and gave me the price. There was no pressure to but them and you can buy one at a time if you want. I did buy a new driver. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. A special family run business with the customer at the heart of it.

Why Foregolf is the perfect fit?Firstly, I’m an average golfer, nothing special. This might help remove a perception that club fitting is only for good players.If you are like me, then you have probably wondered what is the benefit of getting fitted for golf clubs? Maybe (like myself) you think, sure all clubs are the same, there is no real difference or maybe you think, “I’ll go to Mc Guirks and they will fit me for free” so why use Foregolf? Here is what I found.(1) All golf clubs are different. Different manufacturers use different material and different designs. This has a major impact on your game. For example, my game was impacted by the different spin my clubs created, which affected my distance greatly. Certain clubs have different size club faces, different lie angles and different lofts. Did you know the Mizuno MP5 has a 10% bigger club face than MP4 therefore making it easier to hit? These are all subtle differences that the average golfer will not know about but yet they can greatly impact your ability to hit a golf ball.(2) Every player from the Sunday hacker to the PGA tour pro will have certain swing and impact positions that are unique to you. Club loft, lie angles and shaft stiffness can greatly influence your ball striking. For me, I like light shafts with a heavier club head so I can feel where the club head is at during my swing. I also swing over the top and have a tendency to have a closed club face at impact. With that in mind, the team at Foregolf tailored my clubs to try and compensate for these weaknesses. A standard club bought in a shop would be generic and effectively have “generic settings". An off the shelf club simply can’t compensate for my weaknesses.(3) Foregolf are the ultimate professionals. They deal with all types of manufactures and suppliers so they have a very wide range of clubs and they have the latest and best equipment and facilities. They have fitted everyone from professionals to beginners, yet they take the time to go through the specific requirements of each individual golfer. They never make you feel like they just want to make a sale (which is always my worry with your regular golf shop) or that your level of golf is beneath them, even though they could easily be fitting a top pro on tour next week. In most golf shops, you never really know the background of the guys fitting you or their level of expertise. This is what sets Foregolf apart: they are the best of the best. I have been fitted by Dave Williams twice and bought my 1st set 6 years ago. He is excellent and really knows his stuff, encouraging feedback and questions, breaking down this data into a very digestible format and is also open to general chat, adding to the relaxed setting. Make sure to ask him about his putting!Golf is about controlling the controllables. Custom fitted clubs won’t solve all your problems, but they will arm you with the best tools to becoming a better golfer. Good golf technique can be complexed having THE RIGHT equipment shouldn’t be. If you are into your golf then I can honestly say without bias or affiliation that a visited to Foregolf is well worth it.Dara

This was my second visit to ForeGolf and once again I had an absolute ball. I had a full bag fitting and the going in I had a gap in my existing bag between 4 iron and 5 wood (couldn't trust my hybrid). In relation to the hybrid David advised not getting another hybrid and given the new irons, there would be no gap. So, if people are thinking you'll be 'sold' a load of kit, I was advised not to buy the hybrid. The iron fitting was great fun. Seeing the results on the screen was fantastic. Each club hit has it's own colour and is circled for dispersion. I hit with 6-7 different irons in total. If you are into your gadgets and tech David explains what changes he is making with each shaft and club head in terms of weight, flex, etc. The result for me was not massive increase in distance, but actually a much tighter clustering. The driver fitting was interesting. I currently don't hit my driver and I'm confident and getting decent distance from my 3 wood. But I should be able to find a driver that I can trust and am confident with. The numbers said that while I did find one, there was no noticeable distance gain (9 yards). The advice was that until I update my swing, spending money on a driver was not necessary. The combination of expertise is all clubs, plus a willingness to discuss your game mean I certainly don't feel like kit is being pushed on me. All of the staff are amazing and I can't wait to pick up my clubs in a couple of weeks. Roll on the 2017 season. Thanks to everyone in ForeGolf.

It was amazing to see how he "fixed" my terrible swings to bring about a desired result by making various adjustments to the clubs we tested!!! I look forward to using the finished product.

Got fitted yesterday. from the moment you enter the door the friendly atmosphere is unbelievable. was greeted at reception by Christine- a very pleasant down to earth and easy on the eye lady. sat down and was looking at Don inside his bat-cave making clubs. moments later after seeing the expressions on my face in regards to the technology he introduced himself. he invited me inside the workshop to have a look at the equipment in which he uses to make clubs for any individual, any handicap, any level and any requests. highly impressive workshop with 1000's of shafts, heads, grips and basically can make any club from scratch designed for YOU!! Moments later I was greeted by Dave. He's a fitter and worked as so on the PGA for 8years. into the driving bay I went and hundreds of drivers, wedges, irons and putters. looked at my mizuno's and had me hit a few 7i's with tape across the face to show impact. after hitting a few he started handing me various irons to gradually eliminate which would or wouldn't work for my game. I could see by ball flight and feel what was working for me so after going back and forward a few times this particular shaft and club head combination was suiting me perfectly! exact same was done for my driver. by 50mins or so I now had irons and driver which felt identical and loaded the exact same. I also had specific requests from 8i to sandwedge and from 5i to 7i which will be build as per my request. honestly these people can do anything to a golf club in their workshop. you want a specific shaft no prob, a specific head no prob or a specific swing weight no problem. I cannot stress enough how important it is to get golf clubs fitted but fitted properly. you wouldn't buy a suit from a shop without getting some sort of alternations to address height etc unless it was specifically designed for YOU! exact same for golf clubs. overall delighted with the fitting and experience.

I've been to Foregolf many times and every time I'm welcomed like family. Yesterday was no exception. I went to get 2 new wedges to sharpen the short game and the help and advice from Derek and the team was excellent. Foregolf always listen to you as the golfer and work to build the right clubs for your game. After hitting nearly every wedge in the bay it came down to 2 options. Derek cut through the numbers and the complexities and the wedges are in process. It was such a great experience. I play for the love of the game and with the right custom fit clubs from Foregolf I enjoy the game so much more. People often talk about lowering their handicap and scores but I come at it from the other direction - get the right advice and then the right clubs and then you'll enjoy it more and play better. Went to Foregolf for a full bag check. It was good craic and very professional I booked in for 1 hour session a hour and a half later I was still smashing balls!! No hard sell whatsoever!! Dave said I was flushing my irons as good as anyone on tour and there was no need to change them. I ended up with two new shafts one for my 3 wood and one for my rescue. Am now hitting them as pure as driven snow. I also got fitted for a new putter, am now draining putts from everywhere. Dave also recommended the taylormade m1 driver as it had a lower spin rate. However when it got it I was wasn't hitting it as well as my old driver. Went back down to Foregolf they got me to hit balls with both drivers crunched the numbers and agreed I wasn't hitting it as good. Talk about great customer service full refund no questions asked. I cant rate these guys highly enough. If you seriously want to improve your game get booked in to Foregolf. Tell them Wee Dave sent ya!!!

I visited Foregolf as a birthday gift yesterday and was very impressed. Plenty of smiles and good facilities as soon as you arrive. Then down to business in the club room for the fitting. Derek was very professional and personal. I wanted to thank all the staff at ForeGolf for the excellent service I received. .Derek took time to introduce himself and explain how the process worked. He gave me great confidence that their individually custom fitted clubs could improve my game. Dave did the fitting session. I was highly impressed by his depth of knowledge and he took time to explain the different clubs and shaft types I tried. I could see on the computer screen that I was hitting much straighter and longer shots with the clubs he recommended. I have ordered a set of irons,recovery club and a fairway wood. Dave also adjusted my driver which will hopefully result in more consistent shots. With Derek and Dave I knew I was in the hands of experts. I can't wait to try out my new clubs on the course! Wasn't sure what to expect but was warmly welcomed by Derek on arrival. Hit a few balls at the on sight range to loosen up and then had a cuppa while waiting on my fitting. David took me for the actual fitting and was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything to a point where even I understood why he was changing a certain setting. This is not a hard sell exercise but truly an experience in getting better. David took me through my bag and left well alone anything that was already working for me. He then worked on strike, control and dispersion. All of which were greatly improved with every adjustment. It's an experience I really enjoyed and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to improve any part of their game. Now looking forward to getting my new clubs and some better weather!

To Everyone in FORE-GOLF.Just wanted to say a massive thank you for a wonderful time last Friday 30th -October the experience will stay with me forever,you are all lovely people and your success is no fluke its simply based on your good personalities / professionalism / knowledge / patience / experience and manners.To start upon entering the grounds of the castle I felt as if I should turn back as I'm not that good of a golfer as the place looks amazing and I was only on the driveway. Then I arrived at Fore-Golf HQ and was greeted by Christine & Don and because i was early fore my appointment a big bucket of practice balls was handed to me by Don and he sent me to the driving range (right next door ) the view is something else and I can only imagine what its like in the summer-time.Anyway down for my appointment and as I was still a-bit early tea was offered and we had a chat about when it all begin for Fore-Golf back in `97. Then into the Fitting room with Dave (a true-gentleman) with a technical golfing brain that had to be admired as he was picking out all sorts of different heads & shafts for me to try out and honestly people I could have stayed there for days just learning and admiring his knowledge.He was simply trying his best to match me to the correct equipment (ex) heads & shafts to make me a better golfer. And the resulSt where clearly visible when compared to my own clubs that I used at the start of the session - (ex) my club 5-iron (165-170) fore-golf recommended club 7-iron (167-175) with an easier swing. Now this is where it gets very interesting as when it came to the DRIVER ( i was simply told that because i was hitting my newly recommended 3-wood 267 yards and also because I'm only back playing a few months that I didn't require a driver at the moment as the fore golf team had told me to simply practice away for 6-months work on my driver swing and come back in the summer for a free session to see if I actually need one.In basic terms I felt very welcomed and at ease in Fore-Golf, I wasn't put under any pressure to purchase and I also saved money by not having to purchase a Driver meaning that Fore Golf have to be admired as In my opinion (you come first - not your money).My last point is this when your thinking about getting custom fitted think about these facts 1-fore-golf are the only fitters certified outside of America for the big brands in golf AND they have also won CLUB-MAKER of the year for the WHOLE WORLD what an achievement for a family run company from Ireland its the stuff of dreams . 2- Fore- golf actually have no golf clubs for sale off the shop floor as they are Not a golf -shop meaning that every club you receive from them has actually be properly custom fitted to you and only you. Just want to share my great experience of a great club fitting @ Foregolf in January . Being an 11 HC'r playing with off the shelf clubs, & having never been fitted for golf clubs before, I was really looking fwd to it . Driving in the gates to Killeen Castle was very cool and the whole complex is top drawer & oozes class.On arrival @ Foregolf HQ, I was warmely greeted by Arron, Don also came out for a chat and explained their club building process which was very interseting. After a great mug of coffee, the guys gave me a bucket of complimentary golfballs to warm up in the driving bays next door which was great as id travelled up from Cork that morning !Then it was down to the good stuff, into the club room for the fitting with David, which was like a golfers version of walking into Willie Wonkas chocolate factory !! its an awesome room and gives you a taste of what a tour pro would experience with a picture perfect range in front of to greet your well hit golf shots!! David definitely has one of the nicest workspaces there is!! Was very impressed with all the checks David carried out on my own clubs and confirmed yardages etc before we started hitting the new gear...we worked our way through testing different irons, hybrids, woods, driver & wedges and the results from the shaft & head combo's David recommended was very impressive.Two things that seriously impressed me during the fitting, along with the great spin, distance & dispersion numbers I was getting was1) no club brand was pushed on me and was great that my existing hybrid & 3/5 woods were as good as anything that we tested and therefore David recommended they stay in my bag !2) I never felt rushed as I was conscious we had a time window with other guys waiting to be fitted etc, and David was super patient as it took a while to find the right Driver Head / Shaft Combo.! you can tell he has worked with the best on tour , the guy knows his stuff for sure !After placing my order , the new weapons arrived bang on schedule and they looked mega & are going as well as they look!! I've had them in play now for nearly 3 months and the biggest difference is my accuracy has really improved along with a bit more distance which is never a bad thing! . I fired my best ever back 9 (level par) a few weeks ago and continue to get more confidence with every round I play knowing the clubs in my hands are custom built to me & my swing.I was also seriously impressed with after sales service as I had some queries on my irons lie angles etc and Derek came back quickly with really good info to help me understand how & why my clubs were built the way they were.Overall the whole experience I have had with Foregolf from start to finish has been top class and it surpassed my expectations.Quality golf clubs, from a quality company with customer service 2nd to none!After my experience , I have also recommended a few fellow golfers to Foregolf who have been up for fittings since and they were equally impressed . I cannot recommend highly enough to any golfer who has an ambition to improve , they should definitely consider custom fitting at Foregolf . Beyond excellent! My first experience at Foregolf was five years ago when they were in based in Naas. That day changed my outlook on golf. Derek and the team have helped me get my game to a stage I'd never previously could have hoped possible. Building better golfers is what they do, but it's the way they do it that's truly remarkable. To have that level of personal attention from time in the club room, to having clubs hand built with a level of skill and attention to detail that tour players enjoy, is just incredible. You just couldn't hope to meet a nicer group of people who deliver a standard of personal service that is way way beyond 5* Over five years I've returned many times to upgrade clubs, re griping and to ask for help. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Phoned late on a Friday asking for advice on a pitching wedge that i'd worn out, no problem- even though it's an old model- phone calls made to Titleist and a week later a new hand built club was delivered. Every time I walk through the door to seek advice from these wonderful people, I still have the same feeling I got 5 years ago- they want to make me a better golfer. Foregolf have won European and world club making awards for good reason, they are the best in the business. I can't thank them enough for everything that they done for me in the the last 5 years, my only regret is I didn't discover them sooner. What to be a better golfer? look no further, you'll have so much fun along the way.

The visit to fore golf was a first class experience. You get a real sense of knowledge, competence and quality. There is no sales push just a desire to make you better. What I got mostly was the removal of doubt. Once you know the clubs are for you then you don't worry about the club, just on making your shot and knowing it's up to you alone. Really enjoyed the experience. Hope to return too once the piggy bank gives approval.

Got a full bag off fore sticks now, Callaway irons and driver, vokey wedges and a taylormade 3 wood, in my first season lost a full 4 shots and now off 4, have so much more confidence standing over the ball, the biggest thing for me is how much better the flight is on all my shots, I also feel that even my bad sots are not as bad! and everything is much straighter...all in all a great experience form day one with foregolf. Current bag is in tatters so they could do with a new home!

To anyone serious about their golf, I cannot recommend ForeGolf enough. The attention to detail and service is exceptional. Furthermore the whole team is so nice and friendly.The difference my clubs have made to my golf this summer was incredible. I've never been so consistent and also so confident.I've been 'custom fit' before at demo days with launch monitors and to anyone that thinks that's custom fitting, you have got to head to foregolf to see the difference. It turned out my 'custom fit' driver was completely wrong for me, so they fitted me with a new shaft and it's worked wonders.I'll be only getting custom fit clubs from now on. No way would I buy off the shelf now I have experienced the difference. No matter what your handicap, no matter what your ability, head to foregolf and you won't be disappointed.

My first visit to Foregolf was when they were based just outside of Naas. That's many, many moons ago, well 13 or 14 years anyway. I had taken up golf the previous year, I was a late starter at 21 or so. I went to the fitting and bought a set of McGregor irons. My mistake at that time was not getting the full set fitted, anyway that year my handicap tumbled from 17 to 12. To cut a long story short and it is a long story, I have since changed my clubs twice. I went to Derek and the lads every four or five years. Last year was my first time to see the set up in Killeen Castle and what a set it it is. I was fitted by David, a thorough Gent just like the rest of the lads. We decided on a set of Mizuno MP-4s, Mizuno MP-T4 wedges and Taylor Made Driver, 3-Wood and 5-Wood. I now play off a handicap of 5. 'If everyone went into a shop and bought a suit off the shelf, how many of those would the suit fit?' They were the words that Derek said to me on my first visit. How true that statement is. Having fitted clubs changed my game completely. Thanks to Derek and the lads in Foregolf, best of luck into the future and keep up good work. #averyhappycustomer

Just wanted to share my experience at Fore Golf. Went up last year and got fitted for new Driver & Irons it was the best decision I ever made. When I arrived I was greeted by David Williams who sat me down and went through everything I would be doing that day & introduced me to the club fitters Don & Aaron, from there I went into the fitting room where all the magic happens. David spent time with me during my fitting explaining different shafts, heads & showing me on the screen what my ball flight was doing also club at impact and anything else I wanted to know. The whole process made me feel like a pro getting fitted. I have played many rounds in the short time I have my clubs and have got my handicap down. I would highly recommend Fore Golf to anyone who is serious about getting the best out of their game & it is true what they say " Fore Golf building better golfers ". I'd like to say a big thanks to Derek, David, Don & Aaron and all the team at Fore Golf for the excellent service they provide. All the best for the future.

What can i say about foregolf that has not been said already , the welcome is like walking into a 5 star hotel,the service is better than a 5 star hotel , the workshop is mind blowing , Don and Aaron are masters at work i would stay and watch them all day , then the club room is like a candy shop for kids , thats when the fun begins. Derek and Dave have a gift that if you have not experienced yet , well your missing out big time ! if golf is your thing then foregolf clubs are a must !!!!!

I have had my old clubs for over 10 years, and loved them, but knew I needed to change clubs, but didn't know what clubs to move to. I had been talking with other club fitters, but everyone has their own agenda, trying to sell what they represent, so by the time I visited Fore Golf I was apprehensive and unsure of what to expect and who to trust.Firstly, a lovely meet and greet. I had driven over 90 miles to see Fore Golf. A pleasure to meet with and talk to Don, Aaron and then David. David didn't try and sell me anything. He understood I had a "feel" for what I thought worked for me. After a while the experimentation started, no hard sell. I finished up buying Callaway irons - definitely would not of been my first choice, but the results spoke for themselves. Now a club longer, higher more penetrating trajectory. Don & Aaron then did the rest, suffice to say my old clubs are now gone.Been back to see Fore a couple of times since, now replaced my driver & 3 wood. Very impressed, recommend to all. Plan to take my son down once he stops growing to get properly fittedMy handicap is 9

Went to Foregolf 29Jan15 (yesterday). Have to say I was bowled over from start to finish. Great welcome, good chat with Don the clubmaker and his assistant Aaron before I went out and had a good luck at the workshop which was like all the tour buses rolled into one. Anyway on with the fitting, it couldn’t have worked out better. I never liked the clunky clubs although my handicap of 17 would suggest I should be using them so I was delighted to hear David telling me that the forgiving clubs generally encourage high ball flight and often a draw. My miss is a high hook so in many way they are the last thing I need. We whittled down the list of shafts, lies, grips etc. Some brief stats – Current 6 iron - 154 yards, club head speed of 85 MPH and grouping was 4399 yards (area of coverage). Custom 6 iron – 182 yards, club head speed of 86.1 MPH and grouping was 421 yards… Some difference. My fitting was Mizuno JPX forged 4-PW a gap wedge, irons ¾ inch longer than standard – grips (gel Lamkin) made slightly wider + shaft KBS C-Taper Stiff – now try and get that in the local superstore!David recommended not changing my driver as the improvements were only very marginal. I was delighted with that as I knew my driver was the best club in my bag. Reassurance that nothing was being pushed on me.So bring on the start of the season and hopefully I will post back stating my handicap is lower than 17 come the end of the year.Cannot recommend the place more – worth every penny and surprisingly only marginally more than the superstores. Really great experience. Reserved parking spot with your name is a nice touch to make you feel like you’re something more than a shaky 8 handicapper! And absolute experts in their field to fit the best club for you without any brand bias.Only feedback would be to be able to get some idea of cost as you try different clubs so you can factor that into your decision as well.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. I'm a 15 handicap who plays (almost) every week so my ball striking whilst not perfect is fairly consistent. The reason I came is because it was time for me to upgrade my 2009 kit. It's mind blowing how quickly Dave had me hitting a seven iron 15 yards further with a much better ball flight with absolutely no change to my set up or swing. It was the same for the driver except this time the increase in distance was 20 yards with more accuracy too. Looking forward to picking up my new irons, wedges and driver in the next few weeks. ForeGolf are great. Can't recommend them enough.Did a Driver fitting last November. I've had fittings before at other places and was always disappointed but not this time. Dave was great. He works with the swing you have and knows which club, shaft and setup is right for you. I'm hitting the driver straighter and added a good 10-15 yards to my drives.Also got fitted last month for a new set of irons. I had lost distance with my irons and thought it was just my age showing but the new irons he set me up with have me hitting just as far as I was hitting it twenty years ago.The process itself is fairly simple. You hit some shots with your current club to get a baseline on the Trackman. Then he will just hand you different clubs and shafts to try. The data is behind you on a big screen so you can see all the information yourself. When you are finished, they send you a link so you can even examine all the data at your leisure at home.If you've had fittings other places and weren't impressed, give these guys a try. Can't recommend them enough. I've had two fittings so far along with a fitting for my son. All successful. You get good bang for your buck.

Went for an iron and wedge fitting session yesterday at Foregolf custom......I was super impressed.After the warm check in at reception I was offered a bucket of balls to go warm up on the range if I chose to which was ideal.Dave then met me on the range and brought me to the fitting studio.Dave was brilliant & incredibly insightful. We tested different club heads and different shafts until we found the most suitable combo that suited my club speed which gave me much more consistent carry distance etc.In the end I was recommended Taylormade P790 irons and Mizuno T20 wedges.I went ahead and placed the order - (It's important to note, not at any point was there any pressure or influence to place the order if I didn't want to).I left the premises yesterday thrilled and now I just can't wait to get my hands on those clubs.Thanks to all the staff, was a pleasure and I will be making a return later in the year for a driver fitting I'm sure.

Was my first fitting ever and was very happy with the whole experience. I got fitted for a new putter. David was extremely knowledgeable during the fitting about the equipment and gave me different options which I did not think possible with my putting stroke. Delighted with the putter I have ordered. Without a doubt Foregolf is probably the most professional place to get fitted. From the minute you are met at the door by the extremely friendly and happy Jill, to the fitting with Dave. Every thing was made so easy.Dave had a hard time finding the right set up for my driver but he would not give up until he got it, finding new irons he made it look so effortless and we found a really good set up.Anyone looking for a fitting should go to Foregolf, you will not be disappointed and you will get the best clubs to suit your swing. Just got my new set of clubs from Derek and David - looking forward to getting to use them. ForeGolf have an excellent set-up and the fitting was a great experience with David answering all my questions and recommending clubs based on Trackman results. Some people had suggested that fittings are more suited for low handicap players but I felt it was definitely worthwhile for higher handicapped players as well. Also the lads were able to provide the clubs very quickly. All in all I would very highly recommend.

Fantastically well looked after by Dave and Derek yesterday. They really know their area and their expertise will make a massive difference to anyones game. Dave’s suggestions had my ball speed with a different 7 iron instantly up 11mph and a lot more consistent. Well worth visiting if you are considering new clubs.

What can I say, just a fantastic experience all round. The team made me feel very welcome from the moment I parked the car. During the fitting I was made to feel at ease and at times felt like a Pro which all seemed business as usual. Fitting was done with many smiles and laughs but most importantly, with the passion, drive and attention to detail I expected from a top class outfit. I really can't rate it highly enough. Wedge fitting done with David. Good experience overall. Went in with an open mind and no brand prejudice . I didn’t look at any clubs I was handed. I just hit balls as instructed and reviewed the trackman data with David. Very interesting to see the difference in spin when shafts were changed around. Settled on Mizuno T20 wedges . Looking forward to recieving them. Overall an enjoyable and productive fitting.

An excellent service and well worth the 3 hour round trip to Foregolf at Killeen Castle.From the start the team were professional and excellent communicators which cannot be underestimated as a key element to the service they provide.The fitting was a great experience and this is where their skills sets them apart - it’s not about reading trackman results, it’s about combining the blend of what you want and what works best for you. It wasn’t about yardage, or the latest ‘in-clubs’ - it was about matching you to your best golfing self.Finally, delivery in 2 weeks (not months as my friends had told me while trying to soften my expectations) which was 2 weeks ahead of schedule was excellent. Having that small business family approach has enabled them to build relationships in their supply chain, which is a strength here that you could not replicate in a large chain.Highly recommended 👍

Overall I had an excellent experience with foregolf. From the moment I entered the building to leaving I was treated very well. Offered coffee and a biscuit. The fitting with David was very enjoyable and was interesting to see the different shafts and the balls reaction to that. The clubs were available very smoothly. The only slight criticism I would have is that the clubs arrived in a very loose bag. For the expense, I would have expected the clubs to arrive in a padded box. All in all, a great experience.

First time custom fitting. Changing from TaylormadeR11s. On day of fitting my swing was terrible. Slicing instead of usual draw. They were very patient and no pressure to buy, but decided to go ahead with their suggestion of P790s with light stiff shafts. After couple of weeks playing was not sure I had made right decision, but stuck with them as I was confident in their analysis. Gradually got used to them and now 110% happy with choice. Handicapp down from 11 to 9 and never hitting my irons as well. That’s to Dave and Derek and thoroughly recommend. Only way to go for new clubs👍
