Hi David, hope all is well.
I haven’t been playing a lot this season yet and played my second competition of the year yesterday (I shot 36 in first one and but for three missed short putts in a row on back 9 and one bad wedge on 13th I would have had 40+ . All the basics were good so I knew there was a good score waiting to come out).
Anyway yesterday I shot 41 points to win the open competition and was cut 0.8 to 9.7 (equal to my lowest ever) and I am within touching distance of my lifelong goal of single figures
One more good round will do it, the last time I got to 9.7 I drifted out to 10.5 over a long period of time. This time I know I will go the other way. I will let you know when it happens!
